Fast forward to today and with all our knowledge the best thing we can offer is advise on where you can go to get honest appraisals, good backing of their product and they stand behind their product also. We have come to appreciate Kay’s professionalism, understanding and commitment to standing behind their product. Yes, I am talking about when a piece breaks and it needs to be fixed. If you buy their ESP (which I highly recommend) they will restore/repair or replace the piece that is broken. This alone will save you hundreds, if not thousands, depending on the piece that you purchased.
With all the above the icing on the cake is having a manager that develops a personal rapport with you and understands the “meaning” of the pieces of jewelry you have purchased and how much it means to the loved one you purchased it for. It is great when you find a company that stands behind their product but it is amazing when you find a person that not only stands behind their company but they stand behind, and support, you whenever something needs to be fixed, or resolved. For us that person is Hazel Famolare.
Our “inspections” have turned into an event that needs to be scheduled and Hazel always ensures that our pieces are checked and verified to not have any problems and if there is a problem it is taken care of quickly, professionally and courteously. Brilliance did it both times, but then the gold band eventually became too thin & broke from how often I resized it. They fixed the band free of charge which shocked me as gold is very expensive! Thus saving my husband's great grandmother's ring to live another day. They also fixed a rug of hers we inherited that I brought in for repair & restoration.
