I recently switched to Irving for propane because they were cheaper, you get what you pay for. During the first delivery the driver left the bleed value open so we had a strong smell of propane and Irving had us call 911 which was a big hassle. Now we ran out of propane last night and Irving said they MIGHT be able to fill the tanks today. Stay away from Irving as a propane supplier.

I just signed up with this company. I stated I was low on oil. It was Monday. They told me I could have a tank inspection and delivery the following Wednesday and I would be contacted within 72 to set a time. By the following Monday I called and the office told me they dropped the ball my account wasn't set up. On Tuesday I was informed I was all set for Wednesday. Wednesday at 4pm I call and was told they are still on their way. It's now 7pm. No one showed. Lost a days wages and still have no oil.
Update: Irving called on Thursday morning apologizing for blowing me off. They set a new appointment for Friday. They reassured me mid afternoon They were coming. Second no show. Now it's Friday on a 3 day weekend doing into a sub zero freeze on Monday with no oil. Stay away from Irving!!!

Awful experience trying to switch our propane service to this one. Almost a month to get “surveyed”, and almost another month to get a tank with the propane.
Lauren must be the most unhelpful person on Earth.

Would definitely give zero stars if possible.
Delt with Sherry, horrible customer service. Due to an oversite issue within their location. They are denying us service for our furnace because we haven't bought oil from them in 6 months. Asked to speak with a manager and was denied, asked to get the name of someone above her and was denied.
We have an account with them and have had one since 2021.
Do not buy oil from them, recommend any other issues, go direct with the BBB, and report it asap.
Save yourself $1.00 a gallon and go somewhere else.

We ran out of propane Friday morning( our fault, I know but we’re new homeowners) Ordered propane on Friday and was reassured it would be delivered Monday only to be told we’ve been moved to Tuesday.
So we called back and spoke with Kayla who was able to get us back on the Monday schedule and save the day. Thank you Kayla!

On 9/20/23 my propane tank was filled with 35.2 gallons. At this time the technician stated the tank had to be replaced because bobber in the tank was faulty (which tells me how much propane I have left in my tank). After calling for a few weeks to schedule an appointment to have the tank replaced we finally confirmed an appointment but it was rescheduled a few times before actually being replaced. On 11/15/23 Irving came by and delivered 35.6 gallons (after the tank had been installed the previous day).How could it be that we need to pay again since the tank we had before it was replaced was near full? Irving as the wonderful company they claim to be should have replenished what was in my old tank into my new tank which is near full and they did not do that. Since this tank is only used for stove cooking and according to other propane companies I have called around and asked, a tank used for what we use it for lasts between 9-12 months before needing to be filled again.I spoke to Lauren (she has been our main contact with Irving) in customer service on 11/20/23 after I requested to speak to a manager and she promised me a manger would call me back by end of business day but they did not -Don’t make a promise you can’t keep. I still have not received a call from her manager to get this resolved.This company has been a nightmare to do business with and stays in business by stealing from customers.Irving as a whole company are thieves and scam artists. Do not do business with this company use another local reputable company instead.

I wish I could explain how bad Irving really is!! The worse in every aspect, customer service is a joke and the company as a whole is horrible to work with. Stay away and if you have them switch as soon as possible.

Irving Energy has been a great company to do business with. My oil deliveries are always on time, and the discount Irving gives me at their Irving gas stations are very helpful. I've had nothing but great experiences with Irving.We plan on being with Irving for long term.

Absolutely aweful we are going 6 days past our original delivery date. Without heat this whole time. Calling daily being told it will be here by end of day not to mention I now have to wait around for them so they can relight the pilot. Using space heaters this long is going to kill my electric bill. Nevermind we already paid for the delivery. Totally unacceptable and nevermind wrong

Absolutely terrible. Failed to deliver twice in the first year I was with them. Now they're overcharging me but it will cost AT LEAST $180 for one of their clowns to check the tanks.

I've been with Irving for more than 10 years. Yes, they make some mistakes, but they're a very good company. Today Mark fixed a mistake promptly, and he was so calming and professional. Their drivers have been courteous and we can count on them. And thanks Sherry for years of pre-buy contracts we count on.

I have been with Irving for a long time. They are a great company. They always there to help me and very kind. They are honest and value their customers. Nothing in life is perfect but having someone listen and work with you in this world is big and they do this.
