“We were married at Gunstock in September and rented out the entire place with us and our guests. Everyone raved about how amazing it was.
Rooms were great and the staff was so accommodating and gracious. One example of this was my mother in law was injured and having trouble walking the night before the wedding. They found her a walker on a Saturday morning so she wouldn’t miss it in our wedding that evening.
We literally couldn’t rave more about our experience at Gunstock Inn & Suites. We would recommend them to everyone!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Nutmeg Inn.
The grounds were beautiful and the pool area was very inviting. The only regret was that we didn’t use the pool although we sat out there late at night and stargazed which was incredible!
We stayed in the Sugar Shack which we absolutely loved!
The best part of Nutmeg Inn are the Innkeepers Karen and Kevin. They are very warm and hospitable and their home cooked breakfast is incredible!
I would rate this place more than 5 stars if I could!”
“We had a wonderful time at Channel Waterfront Cottages. The cottage was absolutely immaculate, with many amenities and very comfortable, with a fantastic view right on the channel. We especially enjoyed the convenient location near Weirs Beach. The owners were incredibly accommodating and added to the great experience. We definitely will refer family and friends.”

“Stayed in the Tilton Room. Bed was amazingly comfy and we had 2 encounters with a male spirit. We had dinner at the Onion. The chicken parm wasn't very good (to us), the bangers and mash were yummy!”
“We highly recommend Lake Life Inn. Our hostess Stacy could not be more welcoming & helpful. It's a very easy check in, the room had everything you need & more like renting a little cabin than a hotel room. The location is close to the Pier and Boardwalk but somehow peaceful and laid back. It's a very friendly street with a swimming spot a few steps down. We love it here!”
“We really loved our overnight stay at Bay Point. The room was beautiful and comfortable, but the best part was the balcony and its stunning view! The other best part was dinner outside there at Lago, always a favorite with that stunning view. Beautiful spot.. I even enjoyed a morning kayak ride, even good for a senior. ? I will definitely go back.”
“We have stayed in the 2 room cottage for the past 3 years with our 2 children both under 7. The view is fantastic, the location cant be beat and the pool is great. The cottages are a bit dated and starting to show their age, but they are extremely clean and we had no issues at all with hot water in the shower or to wash dishes in the kitchen sink. I read some reviews with complaints regarding street noise from Tower street and Lakeside ave, those are absurd complaints. It cannot be controlled by the owners of the property nor should affect the review of the rental property. If you dont want to hear street noise you probably shouldn't be staying in a hotel right in the middle of one of the busiest areas of town. Anyway, I am looking forward to staying next year again with my family. Thanks for the great hospitality.”
“10 stars on service. Husbands remark was it was like being on another planet with how great the service was. We stayed 5 nights and interacted with hotel, spa, and multiple restaurant staff members. 2 were A+ 5 star, the many rest were 10 star beyond helpful. The grounds were perfect, rooms and spaces clean, food was excellent. Got Room service at least 3 times.”
“Nice view for sure. The check in process is a little cumbersome heading to the other location. The traffic is thick right near Inn location but folks are friendly there and polite drivers. The inn should maybe consider more front desk staff to ensure customers can ask questions and expedite the check in process. The room view was awesome. The inn is older but quiet. I would say the Inn by lake needs some hvac filtration to help keep the room dryer and moisture free. For the price I would expect fresh towels and beds made daily. That did not happen. You have to ask for it by calling as there are no staff posted at the lake place. All in all very nice, pleasant place to visit. Would go again.
Nearby activities: boating on the lake!
Safety: felt safe - no issues”
“A Hidden Gem on Lake Winnipesaukee!
My stay at the Belknap Point Inn was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled right on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, this charming inn offers some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever experienced in New England. Waking up to the sunrise over the water and winding down with peaceful lake breezes made every moment feel like a retreat.
The rustic charm is perfectly balanced with modern touches, and you can tell the owners take great pride in maintaining the property.
What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. Tony and Larissa were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great local recommendations and making sure every guest felt at home. Whether you're here to relax, fish, kayak, or explore nearby attractions like Gunstock Mountain or Weirs Beach, the location is ideal—peaceful yet close to everything.
If you're looking for a serene lakeside escape with unbeatable views and warm, personal service, look no further. I’ll absolutely be returning next summer!”
