He also included some bonus items with my purchase that I'm grateful for, they went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer.
Not only that, but the item I purchased had the best price on the market at the time, so best price, great customer service and a great attitude - what more could you want from a retailer these days? Unfortunately, this is the exception and not the rule, but I'd be glad to return to David and his team for future purchases.

“I was in North Conway on December 1st with a focus to buy new hiking boots. I am a long time member of RIE Coop from New Mexico. We showed up right when the store opened and went directly to the footwear section. I spoke to a woman working that section talking about hiking boots that would work for me. I was needing a hiking boot with a large toe box and waterproof. She directed me to two brands La Sportiva and Topo. I tried on the La Sportiva Nucleo High II GTX Women's hiking boots and knew immediately that these were the ones for me. I also tried on the Topo hiking shoe. The sales gal was so knowledgable and helpful finding the right boots for me. I ended up purchasing the Topo Athletic Women's Terraventure 3MM Drop Trail Running Shoes online when I got home and got rid of my regular hiking shoes. Just wanted to point out that the folks who work at REI are outdoors folks with the experience and understanding of the needs for hikers. So happy that I can continue to hike wearing appropriate footwear.”

“I bought a set of ski boots at Gorham bike and ski last year. When I came to New Hampshire, this year, I needed some tweaking in my boot fitting. Gorham did not have a boot fitter. Went to Stan and Dan’s and they were more than happy to assist me with the boot fitting. They were very professional, I really enjoyed my experience. Would recommend Stan and Dan’s to anyone. Can’t wait to return next year!”

She found 2 fleece jackets/shirts, normally $49. for only $16. with all the discounts! I found a nice fleece shirt, normally $49. for just over $20.00. I'm very happy with the sale we found. “Called on a Friday afternoon to see if my bike could be repaired for a rear Tubeless Flat. I couldn’t get there until about 4 pm. Jeremiah evaluated the issue, slight tear on the side wall, repaired it while I enjoyed a draft and hung out with Hazel (the bar dog) . I’ve rode over 30 miles this weekend with no issue.
