“Made a delivery here today call up for directions the lady that answered was so sweet told me how to get to their yard step by step once I got there was told to park and wait for the fork lift operator all said and done i was in and out less than an hour. I just wish Avery place I deliver was like this.. lovely people....”

“You have many choices of Ace Hardware Stores in a small geographic area in this location. In Portsmouth there is Ricci Lumber Ace Hardware for all your lumber needs, in Lottery there is Eldridge Ace Hardware, more of a lawn and garden leaning hardware store and off the beaten path, but also in Portsmouth is Seacoast Ace Hardware. You may have driven by the sign for years and never known where the store was. The sign is on Lafayette Rd, but the location is off Heritage Ave at the end of a long row of businesses, most of which aren't exactly retail shops. I happened to be passing on a bike ride and needed a couple of items. I was greeted and accompanied for my whole trip by a nice guy who helped me find everything I needed even with my poor descriptions. I've had lesser experiences at this location in the past, but this time made up for past transgressions. Find it if you can.”
“Good, knowledgeable people; friendly, yet professional. They have answers. And, surprisingly, after getting what I went in for (a kind of glue to repair the sole of one of my shoes), I happened to look over and saw a pair of Muck Boots, which I was having a hard time finding for my size 5 feet...well, they're able to order them for me: all I have to do is pay for them when I pick them up.This is the kind of hardware store I grew up with.”
“There is nothing like dealing with people who are not just friendly but professional. I have rented from a few chains as well as one or two privately owned and not felt nearly as satisfied with everything. Their price was far less than their competitors and the walk through of the equipment was easy thorough without being rushed. I can't give higher Mark's to any other company.”

“Just discovered this place. Never ending assortment of all fasteners, stainless large fasteners, stainless uni strut, good heavy duty chains and binders, good quality drills of every imaginable size and i could go on for days. Outstanding selection and just as Outstanding of team members to help out. The only bad thing is i could spend hours and thousands of dollars here in a short time because its high quality stuff you dont see around often.”
“Yesterday, June 17, 2025, my husband and I placed an order for a bulkhead door. First, Dan from the kitchen design department helped us locate a mixer, a bathtub fixture, that would match and replace what we have. We never would have found it without him. Then it was on to ordering the bulkhead door. Dan and Renee, also from the kitchen design department, helped us through the process. It was quite tricky, as we wanted to use our veteran’s discount. There were multiple steps, but the two of them would not quit trying to get the best price for us.
It is great to know that there are people who care enough about customers to go the extra mile.
Kudos to both Dan and Renee! They are valuable assets to the Home Depot.”

Not only did the price average out to about $1.50 cheaper PER BOARD than the big box stores (I did the math), I much prefer to support a local business. “It’s actually really cool to see Lowe’s locations offering free air, like for your cars tires. ? I always thought it was dishonest of gas stations to charge people to put air in their tires, seems like a petty attempt to just collect more and more from a consuming public that’s already taxed to death. Thank you Lowe’s for the free air: it kept me rolling many a time.”

“What great customer service! Jamie and the dispatch head went so far out of their way to accommodate my last minute request. I misunderstood delivery days for a new shop in a different location and tried to order too late. I really needed my nitrogen tank replaced for an event the next day and they changed their entire schedule to get me what I needed. Jamie was gracious and friendly about it every step of the way (despite my wheedling). We've worked with ArcSource since we opened and will continue to do so! Thank you all so much!”
“I’ve been a regular customer at this Lowe’s over the years. Recently, I purchased a refrigerator for my beach house through here. The guys who delivered it were very professional, helpful and courteous. “We had a terrible experience with a samsung dryer we purchased on-line. The samsung folks have a completely broken process, poor communication, and an awful delivery team. We spoke the seabrook Home Depot store manager (Dave). After weeks of failed promises from Samsung, Dave took full ownership of the issue, replaced the dryer and personally delivered it. While, we wont be purchasing Samsung, we will shop solely with Home Depot because of the outstanding customer service.”
