“My wife and I have been residents of RiverMead for the past four years. We investigated many continuing care retirement communities, but the warmth of the staff at RiverMead stood out. We continue to be impressed by the helpfulness of all levels of staff. This spirit of helpfulness is part of the ethos of the resident community as well.We came here before we “needed” to. This has afforded us the opportunity to take advantage of all that Peterborough and the beautiful RiverMead campus has to offer. This includes walking trails right out our back door, and the music and cultural happenings of Peterborough.…There are a variety of dining areas at RiverMead and the food is excellent.Although we hope we never need them, the assisted living and memory care services are excellent. Many of our friends have a partner receiving those services and have nothing but good things to say about them.”

“Very well maintained camp, we stayed at Crow. It was great that there was the availability of potable water at the camp site. Also added bonus of the availability of firewood. Great stay, October 2024.”

“Great clean place, and NON Smoking! Loved it. They have a bar side and a function hall, both sides are spacious, bright, and have their own personal bar. Outside they just built a huge overhead pavilion, there’s plenty of parking, and horse shoe pits also out back. Inside they have plenty of seating, 2 pool tables, TouchTunes, NH state lottery and other games, beers on tap, cooler stocked, and a good selection of mixed drinks. Check out their Facebook page (The American Legion- Young & Richardson Post 59) they keep up to date with the events going on and the hours they are open. Definitely going back soon!”
“We had a great time during our visit. We hiked the Dandelion trail and then broke off to the Channing trail. Trails were well marked but seemed to not be frequently traveled. It was great for observing wild mushrooms and wildlife. We came across many red newts. Was well worth the visit.”
