About Harris Center for Conservation Education
The Harris Center for Conservation Education is a donor-supported non-profit in southwestern New Hampshire. It promotes understanding and respect for the natural world through education, stewardship, and programs that encourage active participation outdoors. The center offers beautiful settings with well-marked trails for hiking, including loops with interesting carvings and great summits. Trails range from relatively smooth paths to those that are not easy walking, featuring glacial erratics and opportunities to observe wildlife like red newts. The passionate people there are very kind, providing history and ensuring safety. They schedule public events designed to teach through solid education and immersive experience.
