“There is a vast assortment of products available at Ocean State Job Lot in store and even more online that you can order and pick up at whichever store is most convenient for you. They have plenty of name brand items at a discounted price and some things that you can't find anywhere else (especially food items). If you look online first there are weekly coupons that you can print or save to your phone for an even bigger discount and they also have many "Crazy Deals" which usually make the item free or highly discounted. When they have a product that has a "Crazy Deal" you get a gift card at the end of your purchase for either the price of the product in full or close to it so it's like getting it for free. The gift card is activated at the end of the sale and is usable starting the following day for anything they sell. It's a great way to buy gifts even for family and friends and then use the gift card for things you would normally buy there anyways or household essentials and get them at a discounted price.”
“Store is great for cleaning supplies, craft items, gift wrap, etc...even some name brand non-perishables. I'm in dollar tree each week, sometimes several times per week! It's too quiet in there, though. No music over their speaker system. Ear Buds come in handy, in that case.”
“They have some cute stuff, tbh... it's shocking. Great place for snacks that you can't really find anywhere else, either. Only downside is it's a little messy sometimes... their paper goods are never stocked, like toilet paper and paper towels. And most of the time one cashier so it takes kind of long time to get through the line... but that's okay.”

“The price increase makes it not worth getting somethings here now like the gallons of water even before the $0.25 increase its like $0.89 at market basket and the cans of food are still at a dollar now but right next door at dollar general its like $0.80 for ravioli/ spaghettiOs also i got 6 rolls of paper towels at dollar general for $5 at the dollar tree it would be 6 rolls is $7.50 and you get less sheets … just pay attention to what the prices are in other stores.. the most surprising thing is if they never started taking about raising prices i would have never had the need to look around and find cheaper places for better quality and usually has more in packages than the dollar tree brands … the only reason i still buy the toilet paper is because i like the brand at dollar tree but i know i can find cheaper else where in bulk i just dont know what brand i would switch to… The dollar tree definitely has a special place in all of our hearts especially DIY crafters like myself but it’s more so of a novelty at this point and not really a place that you can save it’s 4 items for $5/ 8 for $10 now that’s a pretty high increase no benefits to buying bulk here any more i guess is what im saying”
