“It's a really large store for all the needs of your companion animals. A very friendly staff member spent a long time showing me specific items I'd come to buy but with which I had no experience. The staff really seemed to get along and work as a unified group. Whenever possible, I like to shop at local businesses. Yes they can be higher in price, but I think it's worth helping these places stay open.”
“The staff at the U.V. humane society are generally pleasant and polite and they do have a nice selection of dogs and cats. However, at times I find them to be controlling and even oddly finicky and suspicious. For instance, the front entrance here is now always locked, even in the middle of the day (what is there to steal anyway?). Additionally, I once found a manager overbearing and even tried to instruct me on what animal to adopt, like this is a socialized adoption agency or something. Nevertheless, on the whole, I have had good relations with them for upwards of a quarter century, and do recommend them.”
