“Lahout’s is our family’s favourite outdoor gear store. We’re not local but visit whenever we’re in the area. Their staff are so kind and helpful. I bought Keen all leather hiking boots from them and the sole delaminated after the warranty period. I live in Canada and wasn’t hopeful of them being able to help me. “Unbelievably diverse selection of outdoor items. They even sell MREs. You could go in here and find literally everything you need for a multi day expedition. Your pockets would be a lot lighter, but if you need something outdoors they’ll probably have it.Some cool guys work here, they practice what they preach. Don’t be offended if they’re a bit rough around the edges-its much better to have someone who will tell you what you need instead of what you want to hear.”

Really enjoyed the sight of sewing machines in use where they make local products.
