“One of the only places I can say truly deserves 5 stars. I’ve had several driveshafts made for my personal cars and when I worked at local shops, this is the only place I’d turn to. Never had a single issue, except perhaps the driveshafts’ paint still being wet. That’s seriously how fast they’ve done custom work for me. Some of the shafts include a Shelby GT350, a Ford Galaxie 500 XL, a Nissan 240sx, a R32 Skyline, and now a Volvo with a CD009 gearbox. They can do it all and if they were any faster, they’d need a drive thru.”

My 2006 Ford Ranger—owned 10 proud years—went to Queen City Auto Body looking rough: rust eating the rocker panels and cab corners, bed sides shot, interior worn to threads, and a headliner sagging like a bad haircut. What rolled out three weeks later? A truck that looks, feels, and drives like it left the factory in 2006.
Communication was outstanding from the beginning. Gary and crew documented the entire process with photos—frame on the lift, rust patches cut out, fenders and bed being painted, new metal going in. Every change (and there were a few surprises) came with a clear explanation and approval before a single weld.
The attention to detail was surgical. They:
• Replaced the entire truck bed, rocker panels, front fenders, cab corners, and rear sliding window
• Welded in new patches on the cab floor and frame
• Sandblasted the frame, coated it with corrosion protection, then undercoated the new bed before reinstall
• Cleaned, sanded, and painted subframes before mounting new fenders
• Swapped passenger seat, relined and reinstalled the headliner, and upgraded to new headlamps, corner lamps, and taillight assemblies.
Everything aligned perfectly—gaps tighter than stock, paint blended so well the 19-year-old flare-side looks one-piece. The interior smells new, rides quiet, and the frame is now bulletproof against New England’s salt.
Pricing was more than fair—$13,200 for a full structural resurrection, including OEM and OEM-grade parts, and additional items I requested along the way. I was quoted over $15k+ elsewhere for much less work than was done here.
Queen City didn’t just fix my Ranger—they restored a decade of hard work into something I’m proud to drive another 10 years, at minimum. Five stars isn’t enough.”

We were straight up with what we wanted, and he ensured to get us the best trade in he could so that we would drive away in the new car, which is exactly what happened. “My parents recommended Eastern Auto to me after having brought their cars here multiple times and had great experiences. I was in an accident where I left the road and damaged a lot of things under my truck. The whole time Eastern had my truck they were very good about reaching out to me and giving me updates on what was going on and the work they planned on doing. They were in more contact with me than my own insurance company. When I got it back there was an issue with a gasket which lead to transmission fluid leaking out. They immediately sent out their own tow company to my house and took it back to fix the issue. I also had oil stains in my seats, which they also immediately addressed and took it back to clean it when I came to pick it up. I would HIGHLY recommend Eastern Auto Body to everyone and will be using them in the future if needed!”

“Exhaust started making sound out of the blue. Brought the car over midmorning. They took a look at it and said a gasket and pipe corroded and needed to be replaced. There were two cars in front of me but they were able to get it fixed by early afternoon at a very reasonable price. Will definitely come back for exhaust work.
