Only half the machines are in operation, and the ones that are, about 90% of them are now coins only. Extremely disappointing, this used to be a great place to do your laundry using their card system or your own card.

Great laundromat. It's always clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. The old-time washing decor adds a nice touch - you can tell they gave the place thoughtful consideration. I use coins and have never had an issue. There's a change machine ($5-10-20) that has always worked well. I've seen people drop off their laundry and they seem to be repeat customers so the staff must be doing a good job in that aspect.

None of the card readers work. Initially brought my own detergent, which was wasted because the card reader didn't work. Figured it was that machine. Bought detergent from them, tried a different machine, same thing. Tried every single washer, none of them worked. Waste of time.

I liked this laundromat when I first started coming here, there’s plenty of space and even when it was busy it was usually fine. However the last few times it’s been more frustrating and I think my most recent attempt to do laundry here will be my last. Lately it seems most machines are out of order, coin only or being used by employee. I use their card system so if the machines don’t take it why have it? It’s very frustrating that especially on the weekends if machines are working most of them are being used for employees only. The most recent time for example only one of the $5.25 machines had card access, two were coin only and two had employee use signs on them but one was clearly out of order since it was off. I asked the guy working if there was any chance I can use the employee only one, the working card one was in use and again I use their card system so I don’t have coins. He wasn’t doing anything but sitting and playing on his tablet but this must of been his last straw of the day, he rudely tells me to look at the machine repeating himself so I say “I know it says employee only that’s why I am asking you” he comes out from the office and starts jabbing the machine telling me to read the screen (sorry I don’t know the codes that laundry machine systems have) and keeps repeating you can see it’s broken, I said no I saw the bright pink employee only sign and there’s no out of order sign. He keeps saying well it’s clearly broken, while I’ve moved on and started putting my clothes in a different type of machine. He just won’t let it go and I finally had to say it’s fine I’m using a different machine but your rudeness is unnecessary. So now I had to spend $2 more to use a bigger machine I didn’t really need.
So they really need to start fixing their machines or get rid of their in house card system if it’s not going to be accessible and you’re going to need coins to do your laundry anyway

I was looking for a laundromat to wash my larger items like curtains, rugs & comforters, and this place is wonderful! Extremely well lit and spacious. Bruce is kind and patiently showed me how to use the machines (quarters & credit card 👍). He is always busy working but never hesitates to answer your questions.
Now this has become my go-to for washing my seasonal items. The largest washing machines at the entrance cost $7.25 delicate or $7.50 normal cold. The dryers are 25c/5min. There are chairs to wait around in, though the stained fabric seats could do with some scrubbing.
Only issue is the occasional smell of cigarettes 🙏 would really appreciate for the patrons who go on smoke breaks to be mindful of the distance from the door. It wafts through and makes everyone's clean items smell.

We had some heavy comforters that needed spring cleaning and thought to give a try to Merrimack Commons Laundromat. The place is clean, convenient, and customer-Friendly! Definitely one of the best laundromats I’ve been to in the area!
It’s well-maintained, clean floors, good machines (with a couple of exceptions where credit cards didn't work), and fresh atmosphere with enough seats in the waiting area. The staff here are very friendly and patiently answered every question I had being here for the first time, which makes a huge difference when you're juggling laundry loads.
Definitely my only place for laundry going forward since I found this place is 50% less expensive than the one I was using in Manchester (which I don't name).

Brook during the morning is a sweetheart. The guy at night a bit odd in regards to the vibes. I won't be doing laundry at night here as the gentleman at night is an odd duck.

Most of the machines are out of order the change machine never works. When I come in the morning, there’s a mad rush to get what washers that are available. The place is not very clean at all and the professionalism with some employees are not that great. They’re in the process of losing a lot of valuable customers that come weekly.
