“Dec. 29, 2023 After searching the internet for a bone broth my dog could have with the RIGHT ingredients, I found one at The Wholistic Pet. It's called Small Batch Beef Bone Broth. I called TWP and chatted with a representative prior to ordering and found the rep to be polite and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this company.”

“HUSKY DIARRHEA GONE!!! I have a 5 month old Siberian Husky. She came to me with parasites and very soft stools. She was treated for parasites by the vet, and is now negative. but diarrhea has been persistent. Even the anti-diarrhea med has had no effect. I tried bland diet, and that didn't work. I was at my wits end, and decided to make phone calls to find kibble for sensitive stomachs. I called Food For Pets in Amherst NH, and spoke with DOUG. After explaining to him everything that I've tried, he recommended a recipe that would get her stabilized. The recipe had 3 ingredients: Canned pumpkin (100% pumpkin, no spices), cooked steel cut oats, and boiled ground turkey (99% fat free). He gave me the proportions for my dogs weight, and he said not give any treats. I was to feed her three times a day with this recipe. The goal is to get the dog's bowels stabilized, and once she is stable, then we can introduce kibble. The kibble that the breeder recommended, although it's a good food, it was probably too rich in fat for her. The vet wanted me to keep her on the anti-diarrhea med, and also add a probiotic. Well, it only took 1.5 days of being on this recipe, and her poop started to firm up! it's been 3 days now, and her poops are perfect! My puppy feels so much better! She was irritable before, and restless all night. Now, she is calm, and sleeps the whole night! I'm so grateful for Doug at Food For Pets in Amherst NH! His breath of knowledge on dog foods and health, has saved my puppy from developing further bowel disorders! I'm now working with Doug on introducing a low fat, high fiber kibble and probiotics. Food For Pets will be the only place I'll go, for my dogs food! Thank you Doug, for taking the time to hear my story, and for helping my little puppy heal And thank you Jesus, for guiding me to Doug”

And there's always a staff person or two with the dogs, sitting on the bench or walking around. Super clean. Worth the wait and the slightly higher cost (buy a package and the cost comes down).”

“They have a great selection of food, treats and accessories. Fair pricing compared to others we have bought from in the area. They do offer a frequent shopper program but it is on the customer to keep the coupons/receipts. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable. I even asked about a kennel we are looking at using. Parking was a little wonky, it says there is more behind but I parked in front of the bar next door since they were not open yet.”
“Even though I miss my girls, I'm so glad that this is where they went. They've only been gone for two days now and I still feel them rub up against my leg every now and again because it was so frequent. I love them with all my heart but I really hope someone can adopt them and take very good care of them because I couldn't anymore. If anyone is reading this and wondering if it's a good idea to surrender your pets here, it is. It hurts so bad but they will be safe.Edit: One of my cats was adopted and I pray it was to a good home. I caught my other girl right in time. I figured out a way to be able to take care of her and myself and I have her back. They took such good care of her in the meantime.”
“I went in for some fish and first thing I noticed was how colorful and active the fish were. Colors on guppies I had never seen before. Tanks were also spotless, just as advertised. I also liked that the majority of their tanks (if not all, can't really remember) were community tanks, so you could see which colors and fish went well with one another - much more helpful than having to imagine for yourself when building out tanks. Most fish stores keep breeds separate. They have solid policies in place including a 7 day return policy on fish. They also ask you bring in water samples in the event a fish dies on you and WONT sell you new fish until you can provide quality water samples. This is a fantastic business practice in my opinion. They are also very helpful and love talking about the pets they sell. I will definitely be using them for my future tanks. (They also had very cute puppies)”

The vet said Josie is healthy and the tech at the vet had said he has heard very good things about Fetch a Pet. I felt the price was fair, and included a crate, food dish, collar and leash. Most importantly Josie is a healthy puppy. There was so pressure to buy her either.”
