“As a single mother, I noticed there tends to be a lot of shame directed at us from our society at times. I have heard plenty of criticism personally about being a single mother, as if it was my fault that the biological father decided not to be a parent or present in their lives. That stress, on top of financial stress can be crippling and makes it harder to push forward at times while raising happy healthy children. With this being said, WIC Lowell office has been so supportive over the years for both of my children. They have been educational, and responsive. The staff has been friendly and efficient. I absolutely love this office and am happy to share my wonderful experience I have had with them. They help give back a sense of security, and stability when it comes to providing for your children as a single parent. This is our last few months with WIC as my son will be 5 years old. I would like to thank all of the WIC staff for your support and help. I hope the staff understands how important their role is on this earth, helping children and families in need of this support. Much love to you all. Much love to all of the families who utilize WIC. You have all done an amazing job and have had a tremendous positive impact on mine, and my children’s lives. Thank YOU.”
