Motel 6 Portsmouth, NH offers basic accommodations with clean rooms, though some are outdated and may have issues such as broken or propped-open exterior doors and malfunctioning electrical outlets. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and the friendly service from staff, with some mentioning helpful front desk associates. The rooms are generally spacious enough for travelers, with amenities like good air conditioning and decent beds, making for a comfortable stay despite certain limitations. However, there are some concerns to consider. The smoke detectors may be in poor condition, and showers can be weak with little water pressure. Parking can be limited and somewhat tricky, as the hotel has only one entrance/exit, and nearby roads may be confusing for navigation. Some guests experienced noise issues, especially late at night, with loud hallway activity and doors slamming. There was also an incident involving police presence and a crime scene, adding to the feeling of caution for some visitors. Humidity can cause rooms to feel moist, so adjusting the air conditioning or heat is recommended to maintain comfort. The hotel’s location is convenient for travelers needing proximity to the airport or local attractions, with many places within walking distance. Overall, Motel 6 Portsmouth provides basic accommodations suitable for travelers who prioritize cleanliness and location, but potential guests should be aware of the noise and maintenance issues reported.
