“We rented unit 1 so we could bring our dog. Very clean, comfortable room, has everything you need for a short stay. The only reason I rated it a 4 out of 5 was due to the noise. We could hear people talk outside and come and go in other rooms; if you are looking for pure quiet might not be the best unit to rent.”

“Very nice location and front desk service.
The rooms are clean. And the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is ok, not too impressive. The exercise room is great. But the swimming pool is tiny.”
“I flew into town for one day/night and rented one of their suites. Very spacious. View of river. Breakfast was a bit better over other ACs I’ve stayed at.
Checkin was a bit rough; the person at the desk stepped away for about 30 mins and I had to wait for them and no one else could check me in. Plus they were a little grumpy which was just weird. Maybe something was going on and was a one time thing? Everyone else I interacted with was great.”
“Rooms are nicely appointed, clean, and with multiple storage options. Under cabinet fridge has freezer. Keurig coffee maker. Sliding desk table can be used for dining, however, despite having a restaurant, there is no room service or take out. The lobby is being renovated and the bathrooms for the lobby and restaurant were not accessible the night we ate at the restaurant, necessitating going back up to our room for a bathroom. Not very thoughtful or well-planned.”

“The only negative experience was the fact when we booked three plus months ago we asked for the rooms to at least be on the same floor, nope two people on the second, two on the third floor and me and my bf on the fourth floor, and when we first arrived a little past 3 when check in was, they said our rooms will be ready at 3:30 then when we went up to the counter after 3:30 they said 10 more minutes, checked the Id of the persons who’s name the room was under and it still wasn’t ready and by 3:50 we had to leave to make it to a rehearsal dinner so when we got back around 6 the same front desk person said “oh I left a note saying late check-in so you guys would still have a room” I said “what do you mean we had a late check-in we came to the desk twice way after check in started, you checked our ID and it was already a booked room for two days so why would it and how would it be taken? Also we booked multiple rooms under the same name so they knew it was some sort of family thing.”

“This is an older hotel. Nice rooms, clean and very friendly service. The front desk needs adjustments
I called the front desk for an internet issue, the attendant lady just told me that is not her problem and hanged up on me. Practically unacceptable band no internet working.
I initially had a good impression, now, sorry but I cannot accept this bad treatment in a hotel.”
“Counter agent was very helpful when I called direct to book the room, and when we checked in. Room was immaculate, with comfortable pillows and adequate mattress. Easy ride to downtown Portsmouth.”

“Friendly and attentive staff, baby and pet friendly, great location, ample parking, fast wifi, felt safe and cozy beds. 4.5 stars for me, only caveat is the floors were sticky (bring house slippers) and the bathroom was meh, but it did its job for temporary living! Thank you for letting my family stay here and the wonderful hospitality.😄”

“Stayed here for a last-minute getaway with friends. The location was perfect and walkable to restaurants and shopping downtown. Rooms are nicely appointed and super clean. The coffee station in the morning was a nice bonus. If you prefer the vibe of a small inn vs. a traditional hotel, you will not be disappointed!”
