“Great Little Inn - Great locationStayed here on the penultimate night of our Spring Break Roadtrip. Wow, what a surprise. We booked two rooms for our party of 5 and were both on the second floor. The Inn was centrally located, easy to check in/out, and parking on premises.Best yet was Location!Rooms: Well designed and appointed rooms, better yet clean and very comfortable. A wide array of “for pay” snacks, drinks make it very convenient.Walkability: Next to everything in Portsmouth. Many shops, restaurants and activities.”

“Great historic hotel, awesome customer service, and wonderful people. The breakfast is continental, with fresh fruits and berries, boiled eggs, overnight oats, yogurt, cereals and toast. The only downside in an otherwise perfect room (#303) was the strange half glass tub shower enclosure, which fails to prevent the water from escaping the tub and wetting the bath mat. Also, the lack of a full glass enclosure makes the shower cold when cool air invades the enclosure as you shower. Also, the tub needs anti-slip decals on the tub surface as it’s very slippery. Fix these two small issues and the rating would have been perfect.Rooms: See the general notes about the word tub enclosure and slippery tub floor.Walkability: Very close to Congress StreetFood & drinks: Unique breakfast included”

“Had car issues on way home from Northern Maine. To MA. Just made it off the highway. Lady at front desk was so nice n helpful. I believe it was Valery n Mia. Really made a stressful time more calmer for me n my wife. Great people at front desk. Room was very clean n modern. Bed was so comfy. We soaked in the hot tub then relaxed in the pool. Place is very well kept. Saw grounds worker out constantly keeping the outside nice n clean safe area. 2 time stayed at Quality Inn in the last month and both places where above average clean and comfortable. And breakfast. Better then most places I've been to. The homemade waffles are the best. Plus a smorgasbord of other breakfast foods.”

“We loved our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites!!! This was our first time staying at a hotel with our toddler in tow. The pool was the perfect size for them. The morning breakfast was excellent. Rooms spotless. Location you can’t beat. Thank you!Rooms: Rooms were absolutely amazing. Modern, cozy and so clean!Walkability: In walking distance to all the shops and restaurants!Noteworthy details: Only gave 4 stars for service as our valet was only so so. Was not super friendly.”

“LOCATION! A 5-minute drive to downtown Portsmouth. A mid week check-in was seamless. The rooms are CLEAN, modernized, spacious, and comfy.All of the 5-stars go to the staff. The staff here is the best I’ve experienced. Surpasses Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, and Wyndham. Bobby will always offer the warmest welcome upon check in and throughout your stay.I was a little disappointed the indoor pool was closed and that wasn’t posted on the website but the outdoor pool is available as of 08/23Nearby activities: There’s so much to do. Kids or no kids.Food & drinks: The Roundabout…. One of the best diners I’ve experienced. Cocktail menu is great. My favorite sauv blanc is on menu (Whitehaven), local beers.”

“I have stayed here twice now and so far it's been pretty decent! I would highly recommend the deluxe room because it has a mini fridge and a microwave, although if it's just for a night a standard room is great. They have comfy pillows and decent blankets. Rooms have been clean and rates were under a hundred bucks which is insanely awesome due to the holidays and such! I have now become an M6 member as I do intend to stay more often!Walkability: Across the street from many restaraunts including longhorns, Texas Roadhouse and McDonald's as well as the movie theater and there are many outlets as well as the fox run mall.”

“After reading other reviews I almost cancelled First off yes there is construction and hallways are definitely in need of an update but rooms were clean bathroom clean and updated and it was quiet Continental breakfast in lobby it was clean small variety of options and coffee was hot would definitely stay there again”
“Our room was great—comfy bed, great bath products, water, coffee, tea and snacks 24 hours in common area…a place to sit with gentle music. It’s a very old building…with quirks that only added to the ambience. Can’t beat the location…walkable Portsmouth—a great town.”
