The Quality Inn is an older hotel that could use some updates but offers good value for budget travelers. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, polite, and helpful, providing a positive experience during check-in and check-out. The location is convenient, close to downtown Portsmouth with nearby restaurants and shops, making it easy for guests to explore the area. The rooms are spacious and generally clean, though some areas like bathrooms and comforters need improvement. Several reviews mentioned that the bathrooms are in need of serious updating, with issues such as hanging wallpaper, leaks, and stains. The beds are often reported as uncomfortable, and blackout curtains may not fully block out light, affecting sleep. Breakfast is considered decent, with options similar to those found in other budget hotels, and staff tend to be attentive and friendly during service. Overall, the hotel is seen as a good choice for travelers on a budget seeking a clean, friendly place with a good location, though it may not appeal to those looking for modern amenities or luxury.

This is clearly an much older property that could use a significant refresh. With that said, it is very clean and the staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast was also solid, with many of the same things you would expect from a Hampton Inn. Overall, it was a solid value for <$100.
