Great food and shelter are wonderful things while hiking in the mountains!Rooms: Bunk beds style with up to 10 people in a shared room.Walkability: It's a challenging hike just to get to this shelter. Make sure you have the 10 hiking essentials with you before you start your journey.”
“The room was clean; It wasn't air-conditioned but had a box fan. The bathrooms are communal, but clean. The breakfast was great; We bought the pre-paid dinner as well which was delicious. The lady who greeted us at check-in was nice. The wi-fi was free and stable.”

“Great spot here! Charming little “cabin” rooms. Made it so easy to bring the family dogs. Very clean, friendly accommodating staff, very “family.”
This throwback setup of individual cabin rooms just oozes timeless appeal. If you are in the area for chilling in nature you will be happiest here as you are just surrounded by mountains and trails to hike. Got little ones?…visit Santa’s Village just down the way. Room service here is a quick visit to the general store up the road which serves up great options all day and will outfit you with most of what you may need. (They’re everything from bait to breakfast!) Back here at the Mount you’ll be able to walk over to the lobby for something to hold you over each morning. Don’t miss out on one of the best places to look up at the stars! Will return and continue to recommend.”
