Broadview Animal Hospital: Gajewski Cathy F DVM
134 Ten Rod Rd, RochesterI was thrilled to get a same day appt although I did not realize that there was a higher charge to do so. Still, I wanted my baby to feel better and didn't think to ask. I am hoping to keep Bobby well and do some regular well visits to monitor his condition. A vet that listens without thinking I am a nutty cat owner.

Yo's Thai Street food
12 Union St, RochesterThis is one of the best pad Thai's I've ever had. Spiced perfectly, plenty of chicken, everything tastes very fresh. The woman who helped me was very nice. I didn't dine in but it's a nice cute spot with outdoor dining. I was told there would be flowers outside soon so i'm sure it'll look great. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be going back.

FuRRR Feline Rescue
73 Pickering Rd Ste B99, RochesterI was reading through the many reviews as I decided to adopt through this organization. I see folks who are frustrated with the extensive process and home reviews. Some are denied the option to adopt which can be tough to accept. Please consider for a moment what this organization does for the animals in their care. Coordinating the recovery, transportation and care of hundreds of pets per year, from various locations and situations, all done completely by volunteers who receive no compensation, from a center that is funded only by generous donations. These are street animals in many cases with variety of physical and/or emotional neglect issues being rescued. Animals saved and loved by people who get nothing monetarily from it except for the joy of finding a healthy and happy home for an animal that desperately deserves one. Adoption fees don’t come close to covering it. The amount of effort it takes to coordinate the delivery of these pets… think of the mileage and gas and each driver in each leg of the journey. Think about the time it takes to care for a frightened animal, in their own home, to transform it into a well socialized, adoptable animal. Think about the cost of veterinary care for a neglected animal, all paid for out of their pockets to ensure a healthy pet is adopted. Some of these animals need months of care and medication, again all done by volunteers who bring these animals to vet appointments, pick up and administer medications, and chase down all necessary paperwork across multiple states to get an animal ready for adoption. When we put all of that effort together we can understand why they may be particular about where these pets go. After putting months of patience and effort into the care of an animal I would be particular too. I recently adopted through this organization and went through the same adoption process, answering the various questions about my home and what the pet may experience in my home. It is easy to accommodate their requests when you consider what it took for that pet to finally get to my forever home. Give these folks a chance. They are very caring and in the end you will be giving a pet a home that is desperately needed and you’ll receive all that furry love in return. I had a great experience and left with the utmost admiration for what these folks do.
