About The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a thrift store that offers a diverse selection of pre-owned items, including clothing, furniture, and household goods. While some customers have expressed disappointment with the lack of organization and the high prices of certain furniture items, many have praised the store's friendly staff and the quality of the clothing available, particularly brand-name items like L.L. Bean and Talbots. The store's book, movie, and record sections are noted as being well-organized. Despite the occasional chaos, the Salvation Army is recognized for providing a valuable service by giving new life to donated items that would otherwise be discarded.
The staff was very helpful, the store stocked fully and not too far away. The best thrift store I've discovered since moving north from Florida, 15 months ago.
