“workers are extremely nice-DEE, CHRIS, FRAN, LORETTA, ETC. i would not say that the store is ever dirty. yes, the prices have been high lately; miss the 99 cent sale, but everywhere you shop lately the prices have gone to an all new high. example-THE DOLLAR STORE. quit complaining and be nice.”
“This is the coolest shop I’ve ever been in! Make sure you have time because there’s so much to see. I found some beautiful tintypes that I’m in love with. The shop owner is super knowledgeable and personable…I look forward to going back!”
“I love shopping here! There's something for EV1! I love the whole idea of this place!!! ??? U can find some awesome deals if u look around good but there's some vendors with high prices on their stuff! The front register lady was very nice, helpful, attentive and informative! Thank u for that!
Parking can be a nightmare! If u get lucky you'll get a spot right there on the street but don't forget to pay the meter! Or u can park in the parking lot that's next door! Meter maids do monitor the parking and will give u a ticket if your meter runs out! ???”
“The venue was nice, it was accessible by by stair and handicap ramp. Room was clean & bright upon entering. We were attending the home selling and buying seminar that was being hosted by American Eagle Realty, Gate City Mortgage, View Home Inspection & The Title Team.
Presenters were extremely informative however the noise level in this older building hindered the presenters from being heard at times.
We were located in room 2 which was on the main floor. There was a birthday party in front of the room and a small birthday party going on beside us and I believe there was a birthday party going on upstairs as well. There was constant chair moving, walking and table dragging the entire 2 and 1/2 hours that we were trying to hear our presenters.
I can honestly say this was a very clean location and the presenters swept the floor and washed all the tables and put things back in place after they were done. Chairs were extremely comfortable, these chairs were not fold-up chairs. They were a regular chairs with quite comfortable padding on them, I'm very thankful for that. ?”
“Great place! Things are always different every time I go. If you got things you want to get rid of I'd suggest renting a shelf. Rates are great and you can sell just about anything and make a little $$. God knows we can all use some extra $$$”
“First time stopping in and was greeted by multiple people working who were very kind. Was quiet and able to browse easily great deals and items. Found a couple good items!”

“I find the employees here to be very pleasant and the pricing fair. They have lots to look through. My only wish is that they didn’t staple the price tags to the clothing ?”
“This is a very large thrift shop with a LOT of clothing. Not much housewares but if you are into thrifting clothing this is the place. 2 floors. Enterence is hard to find along the side of the building (there also is a small lot) or park on the street and feed the meter $1 per hour.Prices are very good and they have weekly color tag discounts (ex 50% off on yellow, blue tags )No furniture.”

“First time stopping in this lovely little store. I thought they had a nice selection of women’s clothing which was reasonably priced. Everything was good quality as well. I quickly browsed their housewares but didn’t venture downstairs which is where they have men’s clothing/shoes/etc. The only reason for the 4 stars is the lady at the counter was grumpy.”
“Ruth’s House is an amazing thrift store! The work they are doing to serve the community of Haverhill is truly a blessing.
The store staff and volunteers are super friendly, it’s a clean environment and the prices are reasonable! Unlike a lot of bigger chain thrift stores that keep hiking up the prices.
I can only speak volumes of positivity about my experiences with Ruth’s House and I will definitely be coming back as a repeat customer.”

“INCREDIBLE experience here today. Every volunteer was so nice and helpful. We found so many great items for great deals and the team helped us load them into the car. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you to Jim and everyone else!!!”
“Absolutely a fun place to do service at, also you can find some pretty neat clothes for insanely cheap prices. There is also tons of cups/mugs in the back if you're into that stuff.”
“On 8/22/2025 around 8pm, I received phenominal customer service from a Savers employee at this location. She went out of her way to assist me at the register and ensured I received a discount that I was entitled to. May not sound like such a big deal, but it was to me. I regret not getting her name...she was a petite young woman with dark hair. Thank you Savers angel. You made my shopping experience fabulous!”
“Just went in to look around for nothing really specific. Found a really nice spring coat that I feel is new for 50% off. Also was getting ready to order two large hot plates on line for the holidays to keep my food hot. I couldn't believe it when I found TWO brand new ones still in packaging for 10.00 apiece!! Great shopping and what a bargain for everything”
