“This is the coolest shop I’ve ever been in! Make sure you have time because there’s so much to see. I found some beautiful tintypes that I’m in love with. The shop owner is super knowledgeable and personable…I look forward to going back!”
“I love shopping here! There's something for EV1! I love the whole idea of this place!!! ??? U can find some awesome deals if u look around good but there's some vendors with high prices on their stuff! The front register lady was very nice, helpful, attentive and informative! Thank u for that!
Parking can be a nightmare! If u get lucky you'll get a spot right there on the street but don't forget to pay the meter! Or u can park in the parking lot that's next door! Meter maids do monitor the parking and will give u a ticket if your meter runs out! ???”
“Great place! Things are always different every time I go. If you got things you want to get rid of I'd suggest renting a shelf. Rates are great and you can sell just about anything and make a little $$. God knows we can all use some extra $$$”

“We've been finding gems at the Lawrence MA Restore for years. However, it's never looked this organized and beautifully staged. Keagan and the team have done an outstanding job showcasing all the wonderful furniture, tools, etc. I even heard someone in the parking lot talking about how gorgeous the store is. Best of all, the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity. ???”
“This is a very large thrift shop with a LOT of clothing. Not much housewares but if you are into thrifting clothing this is the place. 2 floors. Enterence is hard to find along the side of the building (there also is a small lot) or park on the street and feed the meter $1 per hour.Prices are very good and they have weekly color tag discounts (ex 50% off on yellow, blue tags )No furniture.”
“Ruth’s House is an amazing thrift store! The work they are doing to serve the community of Haverhill is truly a blessing.
The store staff and volunteers are super friendly, it’s a clean environment and the prices are reasonable! Unlike a lot of bigger chain thrift stores that keep hiking up the prices.
I can only speak volumes of positivity about my experiences with Ruth’s House and I will definitely be coming back as a repeat customer.”
“This is my secret (not anymore) place to browse. I can say that a large portion ofmy closet comes from here. Also, I have purchased beautiful framed pictures and collectibles for my sister. So manytreasures. You will even find brand new items!”
“On 8/22/2025 around 8pm, I received phenominal customer service from a Savers employee at this location. She went out of her way to assist me at the register and ensured I received a discount that I was entitled to. May not sound like such a big deal, but it was to me. I regret not getting her name...she was a petite young woman with dark hair. Thank you Savers angel. You made my shopping experience fabulous!”
“Honestly suprised by some of the low reviews… a lot of thrift stores do not organize by size (that seems to be an issue for many), I would not come here for anything furniture related as the prices are super overpriced, go to savers or elsewhere. HOWEVER, I’ve found lots of high quality L.L. Bean and Talbots shirts here for very cheap. This is my go to thrift store for clothing, plus there’s always a fitting room”
