“I have driven past this shop thousands of times and finally decided to stop. So thrilled with all the goodies, so much to look at and good prices. Now I have been there twice in two weeks and have purchased some treasures!!”
“Marisol was an excellent sales person. She knew the inventory, responded to our questions, and spent a lot of time with. We ended up purchasing a sectional from her. Outstanding service.”
“I absolutely love Carriage Towne Primitives! I bought a soy candle from Candi today-- Apple Crisp and it smells amazing! The shop is full of great items for yourself or for that perfect gift you need! Candi is so friendly and you can tell how much love and care goes into her shop! I can't wait to visit again and see what new treasures she has!”
“Beautiful objects, amazing concept. Valerie was incredibly kind and generous when I came to her with a request that was a little out of the ordinary. The online shop is user friendly and delivery was quick. Thanks again Valerie!”
“Very bohemian. Love it! An authentic Newburyport store. It’s a landmark. Love everything about it. Staff is very nice—always smiling. A treasure!”
“Awesome store with beautiful clothing and purses, and home essentials! The owner is fabulous and welcomes you into her store and provides great customer service. A must to visit when you are in Newburyport. Or shop online if you can’t visit this lovely store in person.”
“I ordered custom coasters with a corporate logo and they turned out great. They were wonderful to work with and the product was exactly what I hoped for if not better.”
“I've used Exciting Windows for many years. They installed beautiful shades and drapes in our home when we first moved in. Since them, we've called them back twice for custom drapes and Hunter Douglas shades. Their customer service is fantastic, and the final product always exceeds our expectations.”
“I very recently purchased a shed through Tia. From start to finish the service was superb, and the communication was stellar! The site crew that came to set it up was second to none. Communication with them was exceptional. Excellent quality shed and an excellent set up. I highly reccomendation working with them.”
“I stopped in yesterday while in Newburyport for the day, The Green Plum is a welcoming, fun place to shop. We were greeted the second we walked in, and even though the place was very busy they talked to everyone. The music, the vintage pieces, the whole vibe was fun. I scored some cute bowls and a couple little gifts. The salesperson was so nice. It's now wonder it was one of the busiest stores downtown.”
“I love Rachel's pottery and own several pieces, so when I heard she was holding workshops I was thrilled. My friend and I have been going to them whenever we can. It's a good way for us to meet up and it is a lot of fun! Rachel is a wonderful teacher!”

“Beautiful shop with lovely decor and furniture. The prices are very high, which is to be expected for high-quality items. We were very impressed by the overall feel of the store, like walking into a gorgeous showroom. I also highly recommend the candles!”
“Unparalleled customer service after the sale. Installation was quick, professional and friendly. They stand behind their products and helped us find very high window shades. I would recommend to anyone in the area.”
“This place is a gem. has tons of beautiful furniture filling many barns, the majority of it is in excellent condition and at very fair prices. Mike is wonderful, patient and helpful if you’re looking for something specific, or just want to browse. Highly recommend.”

“I have been a customer for years and have ordered sofas, chairs and carpets as well as bought decor from Kerry the owner. The upholstery is of a high quality at a great price point for American hand-made furniture.I prefer to spend more upfront for a quality piece and reupholster when I change my decor rather than buy poorly made pieces held together with a couple of screws that will end up in a landfill in a few years. Also, Kerry and all of her staff are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful and always willing to spend the the time with you for design questions. I highly recommend Red Bird and their sister store Wish Basket for an amazing shopping experience and professional advice and really well made furniture.”
“This place has a great selection with many interesting more unique types of plants. On top of that, the atmosphere is great - they have two cascading fountain lakes, a healthy flock of diverse chickens, and an impressive herd of goats. Inside the tropical greenhouse is a talking parrot. Lots of really well done landscaping surrounds the area. We gladly go here despite the long drive, always worth it.”

“Sam warmly greeted us when we arrived and directed us to the right area. After discussing our interests further, he showed us exactly what we were looking for. He was knowledgeable, informative and gave us personal space to make our decision. Bob’s Furniture in Seabrook is the best place for us!”
“This is a a really, really nice store. I make it a point to visit when I am in Newburyport. There is a vague French theme but mostly the items are high end housewares. Kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom. There is a smattering of food items, mostly canned and bottled stuff. I'm terms of the staff, I've never had a problem. They are waspy looking North Shore women of a certain age. What do you want? They ring me up and I'm on my way.”
“Had a great experience there yesterday. Found a glass doorknob to replace a broken one in our 1910 home. Also found a great mahogany mantel to replace an unfortunate attempt at modernization. Wanted to note that I was impressed with the owner’s ability to keep cool and be diplomatic in a very difficult situation. Another customer was irate because she thought a couple pieces of hardware (no marked price) should be $5 because she claimed found them in a bin marked $5. The owner politely explained that another customer must have moved them there, because they were dissimilar to the items in the bin and they were $15 each, not $5. The customer was yelling and threatening bad reviews (all over a $20 discrepancy) but the owner was polite and calm throughout.”
