I had a pretty good experience at checkout the guy was chill and everything food was amazing my only problem was the girl working behind the deli counter names maureen she was complaining the whole time she was making me and my friends subs she screamed at us told us that they were closed but said a swear I can’t say in here saying it takes hours to clean up that she was not gonna be home on time she called us idiots she screamed at us when we were asking her and telling her about are orders even then she didn’t make our food right we talked to customer service but this lady needs out I will not be returning .

The customer service at check out was amazing super sweet. But the lady named Maureen at the deli took 30 mins to make 3 sandwichs. She cursed at us and said you guys know we close in 2 minutes when it was 820 when we got their and they close at 9. She also said we were idiots and screamed at us when we were trying to tell her are orders. Will not be returning to this market basket

Went into purchase a few things. The fresh food section in that store is amazing. So many fresh cooked food that are very tasty. Definitely not a waste of time. Great lunch and dinner options.

I love the store. I will say however a man in the seafood department stocking was very rude. I got there at 7 right when they open. I asked where all the fish was because the case was empty. He barked at me that they just opened and need time to set up. I shopped, went back twenty minutes later and there was still no fish. I asked the same guy if it would be a while still, he didn't answer just walked away. Also, if the store is open at 7 am shouldn't the fish already be out? I shouldn't have to wait an hour after opening.

I LOVE MARKET BASKET! If I could give it 10 stars I would...MB Employees are pleasant, helpful and always hustling. Store is clean, well stocked and unbelievably organized. The prices are amazing. I was here from North Carolina for the summer and drove 30 minutes out of my way to go to the Swanzey store and buy their amazing fruits and vegetables, etc. They also sell frozen Meatballs that are amazing(I apologize that I can't remember the name)but they are in a small case between the milk and the deli. I buy Starbucks Iced Coffee on the regular and it is always between $1 and $2 dollars cheaper than anywhere else.
Today I discovered MB Bagels, a sleeve of 6(2 for $5)I counted at least 12 varieties! I bought Cinnamon Crunch and Pumpernickel. I am heading back South in a few days and I am going to miss you MB. See you next summer 💟
P.S. Meat Selection is Fresh and Amazing!!!

Kathy seems to be the only one who can get breakfast out on time. And when she misses the time, she at least serves from the counter for a few. Every other associate ive come across in that department so far has been angry, retaliatory. Or just downright rude about it. Such a bummer, missing kathy!

I am only reviewing the deli-sandwich making section. DEPLORABLE!! Took a number and waited 45 minutes to get called. My number was 81. The number being served was 71. Before my number was called, 4 people with numbers lower than mine, tired of waiting, left disgusted- no purchase. Phone in orders had priority as actual customers were left waiting. There were 34 employees. One employee acted confused and disorganized, pacing back and forth, moving from one order in the middle to start work on another. She got her cell phone out of her pocket 3 times to check texts and actually texted a response one of the times. Then she had a personal visitor whom she spoke to for a short time. All 3 workers who took an order for the grill, stopped making subs and started work on the grill. Sometimes two different employees would be working the grill at the same time. One poor older employee was so flustered, it seemed, that he would rush in the back and to the front, sometimes carrying something, sometimes not.
Being a former businessman myself and once a manager at a diner, it was obvious there was absolutely no system - whether management never created one, or did and it was faulty or the employees were not following it. Either way, customers were angry and customers were lost.
Suggestion: no grill or one person manning the grill. Individual pieces of paper with sub ingredients on it which the customer fills out for their exact desire. That., itself, would cut wait time, as talking back and forth with the customer and trying to understand their preference wastes an inordinate amount of time.
And why not have only one employee responsible for phone in orders.
With such good subs, it is a shame to have the performance turn off so many people.

Man, I don’t know what they think they’re doing there but my friend was getting a ride with some people and they showed up there to go shopping and I’m not sure what happened but some employees of Market Basket came out of the store and start arguing with them and then one of the guys that worked at Market Basket assaulted my friend, breaking her nose and giving her a blackeye and she was so afraid she didn’t know what to do I told her to call the police but she won’t becauseshe’s afraid of that person that attacked them. Market Basket needs to go look at those cameras right now and realize they messed up and they owe somebody a very big lawsuit.

Best pricing in the area around Keene. Has a fantastic hot food area which I suspect is a loss leader with how low the prices are
