“I went to 3 different transmission shops before deciding on this shop! I'll start with this: the difference in price from this shop to the highest quote I got was $6,145. The difference in price to the second shop was $2,400! Needless to say, this shop is very affordable! Second, Mike (I believe is the owner) great communication, flexibility, explanation of everything and accommodating. Sean (I think this is how you spell it), the mechanic was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, gave his professional opinion and advised us on what to do as far as caring for the transmission going forward. I highly recommend this shop or at least go speak to them before making a final decision! 5 STARS! I'll be taking my mom's car there and my boss is also in line for taking his car there soon.”

“I arrived at Mavis Tire Center just before closing time, and I was so impressed with the service. Mark went above and beyond to assist me, showing true passion and understanding. I explained that I had come from another maintenance appointment and was running late, but Mark kindly took the time to check my tire without hesitation.
His team was busy cleaning and organizing the station, and I couldn’t help but notice how clean and well-maintained the environment was. The waiting room was also very comfortable and welcoming.

“I came into the shop at the recommendation of my high school automotives teacher and let me just say I was very pleased with experience. I’m a newly licensed driver that just purchased my first vehicle and I was admittedly anxious bringing my car in but the customer service was top notch and I was immediately put at ease. Everyone was very friendly and explained everything very clearly. I had a state inspection done and the cost was reasonable and they also let me know that I would need a new tire pressure sensor which I could get installed when I get a new set of tires. I will definitely bring my car back here when I need tires or service. Highly recommend!”

When I was finally referred to Leo at Matawan Auto, he gave me a great price, was able to get my car right in, and got the job done very quickly. All the while I had a feeling that they were a professional company and not somebody trying to scam me like the other places. It was such a relief to feel like my car was in a shop that I knew was taking good care of me. Though always long lines reduces 1 star.It seems one staff is responsible 3 to 4 stations, which they constantly work on transaction, pumping gas, operating keypads, directing and position cars to their stations... as they are very busy, drivers are usually patiently waiting for the staffs to get to them.I guess for the 5-star reason mentioned previously, all drivers are willing to wait...(?) We arrived around 10:05am on an ordinary Monday, and by the time we left it was 10:39am; and my husband wasn't any unhappy about it because with Costco's gasoline cash back program, his total out-of-pocket was $3.85/gal Verdict: 4 stars”
