Not surprising, given my picky dog loved them. Also very high quality jackets and sweaters. MUCH nicer than what I've seen in big box stores, and the prices are actually quite reasonable.

The Dawg Joint
513 Bangs Ave, Asbury ParkLive in town or just visiting for a few days? This is the place to get your dogs groomed! We walked in just after opening with our two dogs. The owner was super kind and squeezed us in, without an appointment (not that I recommend this because the business is clearly busy!). She was so sweet with both our dogs and the results were fantastic!

1309 Memorial Dr, Asbury ParkI have nothing but great things to say about this vet office. I am a crazy cat mom and I am a very anxious person when it comes to my animals. I found out on Sunday that my cat Scout would need a cystotomy surgery for a bladder stone. I called city by the sea on Monday (they were recommended to me by a ton of people on Facebook) and they got me in the same night for appointment. Dr. Santos-Melody spent so much time with me, doing an extensive evaluation on Scout, went over his blood work, his surgery, and answered any and all questions I had. She was incredible. We originally scheduled the surgery for the 18th but I called and expressed how stressed I was about the position he was in and they moved his surgery up for me. This has been such a crazy few days and I cannot express how easy they have made this process. Their staff, pricing, availability and all around business is just amazing. I seriously could not recommend them enough. Thank you to Karen, Dr. Santos-Melody and to the owner Dr. Tom for working with me and doing all you can do for my baby boy. I so so so so appreciate it !!

If you're visiting the area, a trip to the beach simply isn't complete without a stop at The Galley Pizza & Eatery.
After finally getting the chance to dine here, I can honestly say the experience was sensational. The combination of flavors is unlike anything you'll find at a typical pizza restaurant. Every bite feels thoughtfully crafted, with high-quality ingredients and unique flavor combinations that make this place stand out.
The Detroit-style pizza was absolutely incredible. Crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside, with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. It was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture when the food arrived! By the time I remembered, I was already halfway through my meal. That's probably the best compliment I can give a restaurant.
One thing worth mentioning: reservations are highly recommended. I tried twice before without a reservation and couldn't get a table. Once I finally made it in, I immediately understood why it's so popular.
This isn't your average pizza place. It's a unique culinary experience that takes pizza to another level while still feeling welcoming and relaxed.
If you're spending time at the beach, don't miss this spot. In my opinion, the experience isn't complete without a meal here.

801 2nd Ave, Asbury ParkNice spot to enjoy some variety of beers on tap. It was very lowkey when I popped in on a rainy afternoon, so I don’t know what it’s typically like. They don’t serve flights but have an assorted sizes of tasting glasses if you like to sample before committing to a pint.
Overall, I enjoyed the different beers I tried, with particular emphasis on the sour. Although I don’t live locally, I’d certainly pop back in next time I was in town.

I ended up getting the Cookie Butter latte and it may have been the best I’ve had to date! The coffee was not overly sweet which I enjoyed! I’ll definitely be back!

We came to Taka to celebrate my birthday and I would highly recommend a reservation for quick seating.
The service was fantastic and helpful with a bunch of great recommendations from our waitress.
The short ribs were my favorite — large portion and very rich and filling. The wasabi mashed potatoes were phenomenal.
The sushi selection was great and the specialty rolls were extensive.
I would highly recommend if you want an elevated food and dining experience.
