“This is where I do my banking I mostly went with them after having some issues with another bank and since their new branch was located across the street from where I was going to be working I decided to take all of my banking business over to them and have been pleased. however there's a few things that I don't like 1) now the: hours have changed and they are not open as late as they were before. 2) some of their location's Mac machines are not drive through and someone can gain entrance into the vestibule while you are doing your banking making you feel uncomfortable and or unsafe and if you have children in your vehicle you have to take them all out of their car seats to go inside to do your banking and then return them back in their car seats not to mention if there's inclement weather.
All of the branch locations should be uniform and have a drive through Mac machine this way no one has to deal with these types of issues while doing their banking.
3) Now there's a charge to receive your monthly account statements and now we are being pushed into online banking,
1st we were being pushed into doing all of our banking needs through the Mac machine if you keep pushing people into going these routes you will put more hard working Americans out of work and yet another business will be forced to closed.
All of this technology is a blessing and a curse.”
“My wife and myself have been long time customers of Santander. But today was our first experience with the West Long Branch bank. We were taken back by how graciously the manager and the representative, Jamisen and Olga, treated us. . Though long time customers of Santander/Sovereign we have had little experience with seeking anything other than simply checking and perhaps a CD through banking. Olga listened to our plans and understood where Santander may fit into our overall portfolio. We like a large cash equivalent safety net via a bank, but we still seek competitive market rates with minimal hassel or strings. She was great and so was the manager.
The following day Michelle was also excellent in helping my wife with a CD. This is a rock solid branch who will listen, be responsive and genuinely look out for your needs.
ADDENDUM-The manager, Jamisen, was able to obtain MUCH BETTER MONEY MARKET RATES for a current account of my spouse versus what another Santander branch in the same area offered. He also offered much better rates for a new jt. money market, again without any hurdles to us such as requiring us to convert to Private Client. Am rarely impressed or surprised but I was both. (Was smart imo on their part too).”

“My branch is in Highlands, NJ, but I found a charge in my account I didn't recognize, so they wanted to cancel my bank card. This usually takes about 5 days to get a new card, but the gentleman at the bank on the phone from the banks 800 # named Dan let me know that at the Valley bank in Little Silver NJ, they could issue me another bank card and shred the old one. I called the Little Silver bank to make sure the card machine was working, I spoke to Joe, which I knew that previously worked in my branch.
