“While I do not write reviews (good or bad) Alex Dee Lighting is an exception to my rule. After visiting virtually every lighting store in Monmouth County, I happened along this "hidden gem" in Holmdel Plaza. I was greeted by Howard, the owner, who ultimately helped me find the perfect foyer chandelier for my home. Howard's wealth of knowledge, patience, and impeccable service made my shopping experience a joy. His assistant, Maria, is lovely, and his install team is the best. I have just made my second purchase (bathroom lighting) and then on to the kitchen! Who knew that a simple lighting change could make such a dramatic impact in the room! Howard, you're the best.”

“Purchasing a sofa can be exhausting, and after visiting SEVERAL stores, we went to Bassett Middletown and met Nancy Romano. She was the FIRST sales person to LISTEN to what our needs were and did not try to upsell us. She helped us find exactly what we needed. We purchased our sofa right before COVID hit and she kept in touch with us to ensure we would get delivery of our sofa when we were ready for it. Delivery was fantastic and we LOVE our couch!!”

“Down to Basics is the only place you'll ever need to go to buy bedding again. Their luxurious selection of sheets and down comforters make it feel like you're sleeping on a cloud every single night. Susan and her staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The showroom in the Galleria in itself is a little slice of heaven- go stop in and see!”
“Huge thanks to Shawna at this store! Despite not being in sales, she went above and beyond to help me find the perfect couch for my living room. Her honesty and great eye are hard to find, and she even asked for pictures of my living room and drew me a measurement guide for my size options to offer further guidance. I am blown away that this store doesn't work on commission and has someone like Shawna to be so helpful.I took my time deciding, and when I had emailed Shawna she remembered me. “Stopped in to look for a couch with very specific length restrictions. It's been very difficult to find something to fit in the limited space I am working with. Linda greeted me as soon as we got to the store and showed me a few options that would work, and she helped me find a nice couch for a great price! I really appreciated that Linda was not overly pushy and didn't give obnoxious salesman vibes. I was also very surprised to learn that she was a new employee at the store, as she was extremely knowledgeable!”
