“My husband and I have been shopping at British Cottage for at least 15 years. Through new houses, our expanding family and home renovations. It feels like Tricia, Keith and British Cottage have been on our family’s journey with us! They have impeccable taste. Their shop is beautiful and filled with quality pieces of furniture, art, and home decor. A very large portion of their inventory is available to purchase right off the floor. It’s hard to walk in and NOT leave with something new that I know will stand the test of time. If you are looking for a personal experience and beautiful quality furniture British Cottage is a can’t miss!”

“We have purchased several lights here - including driveway lights and posts, ceiling lamps, floor lamps, and bathroom lighting— and all are great quality. There are so many options on line nowadays but I prefer seeing the material in person and interacting with a live person.”

The vendors are always happy to help and have reasonable prices for all financial class levels.I would come to this antique store via train when I was a teenager. “On Saturday, 10/3, I was attending a party in Red Bank when I had a MAJOR wardrobe malfunction. I was left with no choice but to run across the street to Urban Outfitters with my husband’s flannel covering me — truly a fashion emergency! 😂
The girls working in the store were absolutely phenomenal. They immediately jumped in to help me find a new outfit, let me quickly try it on, and then took everything from me right in the fitting room so I didn’t even have to come back out. My husband was able to pay for it while I stayed in the dressing room, and they brought the outfit right back to me so I could change.
The entire thing happened in literally five minutes! They were so kind, accommodating, and genuinely went above and beyond to help me during a very stressful (and embarrassing!) moment. They truly saved the day, and I’m SO grateful for how wonderful they were. Amazing customer service and an even more amazing group of girls! ❤”
“I purchased an Innocor pillow about two years ago and I LOVE it!! Problem is, I can't seem to find another one (or more!) It's firm and cooling, perfect! I tried a Serta out of desperation but returned it. Is there someone out there that knows where I can get another Innocor??”

Her honesty and great eye are hard to find, and she even asked for pictures of my living room and drew me a measurement guide for my size options to offer further guidance. I am blown away that this store doesn't work on commission and has someone like Shawna to be so helpful.I took my time deciding, and when I had emailed Shawna she remembered me.
