“what a splendid visit we had! We came on a weekday so it really wasnt so busy. The place is huuuuge so we spent a good amount of time there and enjoyed every minute lol the plants are really well taken care of and so beautiful! they also have "rare" tropical plants there such as their variegated monsteras which were all so pretty! anyway, We visited before thanksgiving and there were already christmas decors. We loved the holiday vibes and took so many pictures. Honestly every corner is a photo spot! it was that pretty! the staff were very pleasant as well which i appreciated! aside from plants they have gift items, home decors or holiday things. the even have pretty peacocks and a curious hen the day we visited lol so cute! Now if they only had an espresso/coffee shop this would be even more perfect! lol”
“A Piscataway treasure. This family owned and operated farm stand offers the best fruits and vegetables, farmers market goodies like pickles, cheeses, small batch spreads and desserts.
Hands down, the best tomatoes and corn you can find in the county.
John and Joan's nursery section is jam packed with with healthy plants and flowers that make the big box stores offerings look like leftovers. Its definitely worth the drive to this location for the great offerings and the friendly conversation from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation family members who run this little gem.”

“Nick at J&M is incredible, and it’s an understatement to say I shop here because of him. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of plants, including native plants, and he can answer even the most nuanced and complex questions with ease. Though it’s tempting to believe our computers can do all our landscape architecture for us, I can affirm that ChatGPT doesn’t know what Nick knows. He can tell me exactly what is going on with various growers, issues that have strained production, patterns of larger companies, when plants are expected to restock, etc. His deep industry relationships are an invaluable tool for understanding how and when I can landscape my property.
Speaking of relationships, he is easy to speak and work with because he is kind-hearted, nonjudgmental and low ego. Whether you are an expert gardener or completely new to it and anxiously arriving feeling clueless, he will never make you feel stupid, and I can guarantee he will give you sage advice. When Fred Rogers said look for the helpers, he was talking about Nick. There just aren’t enough people like him in the world, and I feel so lucky that we have him right here in Madison.”

They are attentive to detail and the particularities required when entering the building. Our technician is personable and always carries themself respectfully when on premises. “Thank you to Route 202 Paul an older gentleman for going above and beyond for me. On 2/20/26, I visited the home depot at 202 NJ with my one month old baby. He walked up to me and asked me if I needed help. He loaded my cart, pushed my cart to the register, put on his rain coat, loaded my truck. My truck was too small for the supplies, he went back in the rain got a rope, and tied my trunk. He made it work for me. He advised me to drive carefully. “I have no choice but to love The Home Depot because I'm there several times a week looking for ways to improve my indoor as well as outdoor living space. If I can't find it in the store, I can usually find it in online. I will say the culture of Home Depot has changed over the years, the workers aren't as eager toVoluntarily offer assistance, I do miss that because this store can be quite intimidating to some (like myself @ times). If you inquire assistance the people are usually pretty friendly. In terms of pricing I think they're pretty reasonably priced in comparison to their competitor, which I also patronize quite often; but since Home Depot is right around the corner from me, it's one of my most visited spots. Best of all, the lines are never to long, the staff will move you along very quickly. All I can say about Home Depot is, "What's not to love?"”
