“Best place in the area to buy produce! Lots of seasonal and exotic fruits, I get to eat fresh lychee all summer from here. Great prices on fruit and lots of sales so I can stock up and freeze extras. They also have an in-house butcher but sometimes they don’t do the best job at cutting the meats. Still, good prices on meat and I still buy it from here if I’m short on time. Good snack and instant noodle selection as well, I rarely go to supermarkets because Uncle Steve’s already has just about everything!”

“We have been buying our kielbasa at East Village Market since the early '70s when the shop was on Avenue B. Since moving from NYC, I still place orders for the kielbasa to be sent to our home in MA. One year we actually brought the kielbasa on the plane on our way to NC. There were a few stares but it was worth it. Continue making the best kielbasa. BTW: both my parents grew up in Poland, so I know of what I speak.”
“This is hands down the best steak Ive ever had. I eat out multiple times a month at various places all over NJ & NY and this is the best steak Ive ever had. I took home the A5 Japanese wagyu, it was unreal. The prime marinated hangar steak, amazing. The deli counter is out of this world, very decently priced and the food is so fresh and creative. A million different kinds of salads and stuffed peppers along with traditional small Italian dinners like eggplant rollatini. “The best super market with in the area. Always has the best and freshest meat and chicken. Also have a wide selection of international foods. You will literally find anything you are looking for here. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied. Owner has even offered to get me a ride home because my husband was taking too long to pick me up! If that doesn’t scream great customer service i don’t know what does! The owner and the arab butcher specifically are super friendly and always trying to put a smile on their customers faces by having funny conversations. Owner is always in the store which shows how much they care about their business. Could not recommend this store enough!”

Its been weeks and I still remember the taste. they gave me specific instructions on how to cook it which was very helpful. The steak was huge and fed 3 people. “I've been ordering from DeBragga for a few years now, and I'm never disappointed. I originally went to the site for the Japanese Wagyu. I'd never tried it before, and it was a real treat. Then I started exploring their dry aged beef, and since then I've been a somewhat regular customer. The prices are a bit high for my income level, but I've honestly never had better steaks (including some very expensive restaurants). I was a bit disappointed with the Select steaks, so I would recommend sticking to the Prime grade (I assume that their Choice grade gets bought up by restaurants). Over four years, I've only had to contact them once with a customer service issue, and it was handled very well.”
