I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with the customer service at Investors Bank located in Bayonne, New Jersey. After receiving no assistance at the Citizens Bank location in Yonkers, I contacted the Citizens Bank branch in New Jersey, where I initially signed up, seeking help with an important matter. I was assured over the phone that they would be able to assist me once I visited the branch in person.Given the significant distance, I wanted to ensure they could help before making the one-hour drive. I was advised that this branch might have more resources to handle my situation since it was originally an Investors Bank branch, and they may have access to the specific documents I needed, which were not available at Citizens Bank since the acquisition. With this information in mind, I decided to visit the Bayonne location.Upon arrival, however, I was informed that there was nothing they could do to assist me. Despite my requests for help, the representative was unable to provide any meaningful support or guidance. The visit turned out to be unproductive, as the representative was dismissive and offered no viable solutions.Hoping for a resolution, I made an additional attempt to seek assistance from the representative over the phone. However, their memory of the situation seemed to be unclear, and their response did not align with the information previously discussed. This lack of understanding and dismissive attitude left me feeling frustrated and unheard.Determined to find a solution, I sought help from another branch in White Plains, New York. The contrast in customer service at the White Plains branch was astounding. The staff there were attentive, patient, and went above and beyond to understand my situation and provide the necessary support. Their willingness to help and the diligence they displayed were commendable.The transition from Investors Bank to Citizens Bank has undeniably made my life more complicated. I have heard of other customers facing challenges and difficulties due to this transition. Regardless, I believe that I should have received assistance during this matter, which unfortunately did not happen. It is disheartening how unhelpful the customer service became when I needed support the most, especially considering how helpful they were during the account opening process. I also encountered limitations with Zelle transfers and ATM withdrawals prior to this matter, further adding to the frustration.In conclusion, I am disappointed by the customer service experience at Investors Bank in Bayonne, New Jersey. While the branch in White Plains, New York, was instrumental in resolving my issue, the lack of assistance and dismissive behavior I encountered in Bayonne only served to complicate matters. I sincerely hope that the bank addresses these issues and improves their customer service to ensure that customers receive the support they need, particularly during challenging situations.Thank you for taking the time to read about my experience. worst branch ever manager doesn't know how to talk to customers, and asking unprofessional questions, and when I ask to talk to a manager in a higher position i was told to leave

This is the worst branch. I've been with investors bank for 8 years. Donnell McKinney, who is a floater CSA Supervisor, refused to give me a money order. He told me blacks not allowed money order.

The staff and this bank is the best in Bayonne. I have accounts with the bigger banks and always have to wait or have difficulty finding parking. You won’t have this problem here. They also have free refreshments so that’s nice.

The teller is very unprofessional and does not seem to have knowledge when it comes to tending customers. I asked questions and they did not know the answer. It took over 2 hours to open a simple checking account. I do not recommend this bank.

The worst bank in New Jersey they open my account I put my money in the account to close on a property and in the end when I ask to wire the money to my tittle company so I can finish up my closing on my purchase they hold on to my money and start blame it on me and one of they own worker now my money is taken by investors bank I sit there all day with nothing to eat and up to now all I was told my account is under review mess up my closing and freeze my account now they don’t know when they gonna give me my money this bank is no good no body no anything

Investor bank's computer system is horrible, and it is difficult to get statements. Their underwriters have been problematic in loans I have been involved in. However this review is not about the bank itself, but only the branch. When I first started an account here the staff was extremely friendly, but made a few mistakes that I attribute to the bank having just opened, and the staff being mostly new at the time. It was not a big deal and they corrected them with a phone call, very quickly. Over the years whenever I have needed anything they jump right on it. Amanda Portal in particular is great at this branch, she has always been great. And she personally got involved on a matter recently that really helped out. Because Investor's software is horrible, there was no way to print out my balance in between quarterly statements. I needed to do this for a loan. She went above and beyond, and got my lender what was needed to show the balance. So this branch gets 5 stars, especially Amanda, even though Investor Bank gets 1 star generally.

What a complete joke. The staff and tellers here are completely unprofessional and untrained. Will not bank here any longer....taking my commercial business accounts elsewhere. Extremely sad.

My go to bank, love them. I have been banking with them for almost 4 years. I completed a HELOC and a checking account with them. There mobile service and internet banking are top of the line.

first, they mailed my checks and debit card to the wrong address although I EXPLICITLY told them not to since I don't have a mailbox there. My mailing address on all the forms had the correct address but they still mailed to the one I asked them not to. Then, it turns out they had me fill out an EXPIRED business credit card application. I don't know if it's this branch, but i'm just really disappointed.
