“I have no idea why I didn't review this shop earlier. Today is my third time and every time I have walked out with some awesome vintage stuff. Today I picked up a reversible caped coat with leopard print on one side and orange on the other $50. No label but this is a coat that put a smile on my face. It's a statement coat but I'll wear it all winter. A lovely gown for my nephew's wedding for $15, a very large hand crocheted blanket and a lovingly washed quilt to go over it - each for $20. A copper bar server for $10 and a vintage clothesline pin holder in a fun and funky mix of salvaged cloth absolutely made my day. Top it all off with with the nicest people running it. This is one of the best church thrifts on the East Coast.”

“Can’t think of a nicer guy in a business like this. The owner Nick helped me out tremendously for a bunch of things I needed and kept recommending more to really complete my trip. Prices are incredibly fair and if you talk to Nick you’ll get a couple cool stories from him as well. I’ve already recommended this store to friends and family who I’ll most likely join if they head over here. I highly recommend anyone looking to go to a thrift store to come here first before anywhere else.”

“Googled thrift stores this one was in walking distance from where I was staying. It's definitely a cute little corner store.. clean small/compact. Owner was friendly. Items were reasonably priced. A lot of them items were reminded me of pieces older ladies might wear, didn't see too many things I felt were trendy. Owner did advise they get new items in often, definitely gotta pop back when I'm in town again & give it another try.”

“wow, pleasantly surprised! This is the most organized thrift store I’ve ever seen. Organized by size and type of clothing. Lots of name brand and some items were NWT. Staff was friendly as well, I’ll def be back”

“I love this store. Everyone of the volunteers is great. I go there and spend hours just talking to them and looking through their amazing donations. I always find great quality and a great price. Thank you to every one of the volunteers.Michelle and Tomasz.”

“I love coming to the Salvation Army because their prices are very affordable, specially in the Zara section because they usually have 60% discount in everything from the original price… the store closes at 5:00pm but the only problem is that the ladies who work in the store start closing and screaming that the store will be close in 10 minutes (4:15pm) which is very annoying. I understand that they need to be close at 5 but they shouldn’t be saying that out loud when is not the time yet.The workers there are super nice and sweet, I just wish they wouldn’t start closing the store 1 hour prior to the actual closing time.Store is a little messy but you always done treasures there!”

“this a really good spot to buy clothes, as well as donate. the only negative thing i have to say is that their store times are so bothersome. i have to essentially plan my entire day around making I’ll have enough time to go since they close early sometimes.”

“PROS: The staff is nice, prices are good, and the variety is plentiful. They have everything under the sun here. they have a good size parking lot and the hours are good CONS: They only accept cash, everything looks messy inside, and nothing is priced. you have to ask them what each item is worth OVERALL: Not really my go-to place after coming here. But if you're in the area, might as well stop in”

“Only problem here, ugh, is anytime that I go, there are no shopping carts available. Staff, which by the way are helpful, have no idea how or why they’re losing shopping carts. Ugh!!”

“Hit and miss with good finds but the people who work here are nice. They close earlier then listed, they closed today at 1:45 when I got to the door. Other days they close at 2pm. They are not open till 3:30pm.”

“Always been a great and easy place to donate. Employees are usually not friendly but that does not matter. Had a strange experience today - stopped by to drop off donations at 4:50 PM. There was an elderly gentleman who said they were closed. ( Google hours say 5 PM, so the info on Google might be inaccurate) . Anyways he said that at this hour if he accepted my donation he would need a tip. Unfortunately I didn't have any cash on me and he suggested I go get some from an ATM - however I needed to get home asap and didn't have time to go withdraw cash so I ended up taking my donation bags back home. Lesson learned: Go early and if you go there close to 5 PM keep some cash on you to tip whoever helps you out. Would be 5 star except for today's unfortunate incident.”

“The selection here is unbelievable. My husband and I spent two hours browsing the assortment of quality new-enough and vintage clothes, before we even looked at the variety of baby stuff, which is what we came for.The price is right, too. It’s not expensive like how Goodwill and Salvation Army have become. If games, toys, and gifts for kids is what you’re looking for, come here first. I saw large and intricate dollhouses, multiple rocking ponies, soooo many huge and adorable plushies, and of course an assortment of bouncy balls. They have essentially a wall of board games. If you have been to the Unique in Union City and left disappointed, know that the Elizabeth location is totally different.”

“I went here to look for some black pants for work, unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything that fit me. I'm a size 16, I wasn't able to find any parts over size 14. Most were 8 and 10 under. So if you're on the bigger side, I wouldn't be too hopeful about finding clothes here. They have quite a bit of a selection tho, I did find the curtains I was looking for and most prices are good. I saw a lot of clothes for 8 dollars under, and I saw a couple for 40$ plus. Overall a good place to go to for shirts and other miscellaneous stuff. I'll return again when I'm looking to refresh my closet.Edit: yes, it's true nothing is organized by size, only color, so be prepared to sort to the whole rack to find something in your size.”
