“Outstanding! We turned to Jack’s Art Gallery to frame three 4x4ft pieces of artwork for a Gallery event in midtown. Given the constraints of a tight turnaround and numerous variables, Jack and his team delivered exceptional service and craftsmanship, trusted expertise, and fair pricing at every step of the project. Jack’s Art Gallery is a reliable partner and a delight to work with.”

“These guys are magicians. After walking around the UWS getting quotes from various framing galleries, Amsterdam Gallery came in the least expensive with the quickest turnaround. The work is quality and they are so kind. They even got the job done in less than 24 hours. Will only be using them from now on for any framing needs.”

“Amazing gallery! Hands down the first gallery I always go to when in town. The owner is amazing and not pretentious at all, yet they have better art here than in ANY other gallery in Miami. The space is huge, it had well over 100 exhibits and always different when I went. If you collect fine art from up and coming artists as investments, or are out for that one of a kind super edgy piece, or just want to view some thought provoking art with the family THIS is the place to go!”

“449 LA is an incredibly special place.I visited a few weeks ago and heard a wonderfully talented group of musicians perform, including Nikita White (vocalist). The space was intimate, and everyone was warm and welcoming.I've been coming to the city for over two decades to listen to jazz and in all those years, this is by far one of the best places I've been. People will come to Harlem and likely go to the larger or more "trendy" venues for jazz, which is all good. But this place easily rises to the top for me. I can't wait to visit again, the next time I'm in NYC. To the owners: thank you so much for what you do.”

“There are ALWAYS great exhibitions and activities going on at The Heath Gallery. Come and meet the Gallery curators Thomas and Saundra Heath who are usually always onsite.”

“Not the most expansive gallery space but they pack a lot of great stuff in there! If the exhibits are at all in your sphere of interest (IE, design and creation of objects) it is a great additional stop along with the NYHS or the MNH! Not for kids though, certainly!”

“Gallery 270 in Westwood, NJ is an extraordinary gallery. As a collector of fine art photography for many years, I can say that Tom, the owner of Gallery 270, is an exceedingly knowledgable, reputable, and honest dealer. Over the years, Tom has educated me in the nuances of fine art photography and has helped me put together a photography collection of the highest quality.”

“I entered the museum for free using my New York Culture Pass. The Guttenheim Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art are nearby, so I think it would be a good idea to visit them at the same time. The third floor has a project mapping room that is especially impressive. There is a workshop area on the first floor. When I went there was a workshop where you could make original marks and add them to the exhibit. There was also equipment on display that allowed students to draw illustrations and turn them into three-dimensional furniture and clothing designs. There are few customers, so you can enjoy the view in peace and quiet. On the other hand, the security staff are numerous and helpful. It feels like a museum that spends a lot of money on maintenance.I can't deny that it's a bit plain compared to other museums nearby, but I think it's a highly satisfying museum.Time required: 1 hour”

“The Art School at Old Church offered such a unique experience for me. My instructor Naho took such joy in teaching me how to make Jewelry, a beginner who knew nothing. Naho and the school turned my venture into Jewelry, a fire, metal, brass, copper, hammer, saw, and fire into an incredible experience. The acclaimed artists and educators make the school unique. Thank you, Naho.”

“On Saturday, June 25th, Lee Romero taught a workshop focusing on a technique called cross hatching. It turns out Mr.Romero is a gifted teacher in addition to his many talents. The atmosphere was comfortable and he was delightful to listen to. We sat at a long table and it seemed we all hung on every word he said.It was a hot day, but the gallery was cool and airy. It was an uplifting experience and I hope he returns to teach again.”

“I had my eye on this "Love" artwork for months. I was so thrilled to finally own it and Mike hung it on our wall last week with great care. It's just so gorgeous. Thank you again Mike and staff for making my birthday wish come true.”

“I took a 6-week wheel throwing class and enjoyed it very much. Kathy is an excellent teacher and helped me to center and pull the clay. She breaks down each step so that it is easy to understand. I also learned how to use tools for shaping the clay into a bowl, which made it faster to throw bowls on a wheel. I liked experimenting with the glazes she has in her studio (see photos). Kathy has created a peaceful and friendly environment for making pottery. This studio is primarily for adult wheel-throwing and hand building classes as well as small group events. I highly recommend taking classes here! The studio is located right next to the Mavis Discount Tire store, on the second floor of a building that also has a barre class. There is plenty of street parking.”

“Great for summer camp! My son Iearned so much and the teachers and staff were all educated at School of Visual Arts and other schools. They were very patient with my son, especially the lady at the front desk with the short hair. My son's artwork is amazing!!!! He took fashion design and nature drawing. His teacher had a degree in fashion design. I can't believe he was able to learn so much in such a short period of time. We went upstairs after and saw older kids were learning how to use art software that is currently being used in the digital advertising industry today. This school provides professional level training to kids and opens their minds to limitless opportunities. Drove by so many times & glad we finally enrolled my son. They expanded to New York and all over the country in just 7 years, which is a testament to this innovative art instruction. There was only a very small one time registration fee for summer and that was all made very clear when I registered online.”

“They told me that they might be using a baby picture of me for an Art Exhibit. "We are going to be using that baby picture of you." When I got there, I found out they didn't use it, but I had fun anyway. Great open art space. Very close to the Dinosaur BBQ restaurant with its taste ribs. The Lenfest Center for the Arts has a large coffee shop on the street level, and it's used by the hard-studying Columbia University students all the time.they might use”

“We needed a custom collage of vintage photos for an 80th birthday gift. We found Arielle's on google and wanted to support a local business and so glad that we did. The collage turned out beautiful and the gift recipient loved it. Manuel was very friendly and helpful, fast and the price was very reasonable for custom work. Would definitely recommend this shop.”

“First visit to Claire Oliver Gallery, one of the stops of the Harlem Art Stroll. Amazing photo exhibition by Jeffrey Henson Scales who at 14 yo photographed engaging images of the Black Panthers. The space is great, spacious, well illuminated with very high ceilings.”

“I am so happy with the framing they did for my daughter's diploma! It was exactly what I wanted, but better. They spent the time with me to choose the perfect frame, and then had the frame ready sooner than I expected. Everything was done with a smile. I'd definitely go back.”

“Sal was tremendously helpful with deciding on the frame for the paintings we purchased. He’s a great story teller regarding the history and background of Thomas Kincade himself. I highly recommend Sal and his gallery if you’re looking for Thomas Kincade artwork.”
