“Well stocked. Great selection. I was in last Friday and a nice young man from New Milford was extremely polite and professional with all the customers as we went through the line. He had a New Milford Wrestling sweatshirt on. I did not catch his name, but he did great! Good for him for having a job, along with school and sports!”

The Dollar General in Lyndhurst, New Jersey has become one of the most warm and welcoming locations, and it’s all thanks to an employee named Mary. She is truly one of a kind—beautiful, vibrant, kind, and incredibly warm-hearted. She always acknowledges everyone, takes the time to speak, and makes each person feel seen and valued.
Her uplifting spirit brings so much joy to every visit. She is the main reason I choose this Dollar General over any other. I truly hope she is recognized and rewarded just as much as she brightens the days of everyone she meets. I thank God for people like her?”

Lines are very long and they move fast or slow. So do not let the lines stop you. If you go to this store it's best if you go when it's not too crowded/busy/ the line is up to the back of the store.
If you are just looking at stuff in the store please do not touch anything... It's best during day if possible. If it's at night before they close, not around the closing time...
Not too busy and able to get what you needed and get out in about 5 minutes or more. It might be more than a while when it gets really busy, a line at the front of the store
Please make sure to have the receipt.
Please clean up the place and Thank you ?
At the cashiers when it's paying it's saying hello... They scan items and let the customers know the total and mention enjoy your day, have a nice day... something similar is said sometimes or not”

She was so patient and knowledgeable, Working retail is not easy so having someone dependable like that on the team is always great. They have a wide variety of household necessities, person necessities, decorations, and bedding. They have storage solutions for food and personal items. They also carry luggage and duffle bags. There are some food items and snacks. They carry gift items as well. It's always a pleasure visiting this store.”

“Lots of items to browse from at $1.25 and up. Deals and specials from household, toys, toiletries, garments, cleaning supplies, beverages, snacks, dairy, stationary, etc. Although, this particular store was a bit messy, I can blame it on a recent truck delivery of their supplies.”

“I think this one of the best ones I've shopped at in the Bronx It is the store closest to St. Ann's Ave. It's a large store, well kept, good inventory and the staff are nice. This location typically has items that I don't find at other locations.”

“Long story short, I needed to update the ugly boob lights in my apartment. I got the inspo (see photo), headed to Dollar Tree and ended up making this for under $8. So proud I had to show off.
This particular Dollar Tree was out of a lot of things. No hot glue sticks, entire rows in the crafts section out of stock.
I asked the manager about it and she was very kind. She said they just get whatever they send so you can’t even ask them to get products. Like it seems the inventory is random. This was around June 2nd 2025.
?Tip: They do answer the phone so give them a call before driving over if you’re going for something specific. Very good chance they’re out and you can save yourself the trip.”
“I've been to plenty of dollar tree's. This is by far the cleanest and most organized one i've been to. The staff was so helpful and patient. I came in to get 20 balloons, a task that would have been quite the hassle for a staff member to do. But Chrissy/Krissy helped me out, had so much patience, didn't complain once, and was very nice and easy to talk to. They were also very helpful over the phone. Locally, this is the only dollar tree i'm gonna go to in the future. I was pleasantly surprised.”

“It's a good replacement for a Dollar Tree for the area, at least they sell things for 1.25 (the new dollar apparently) but check the expiration dates on stuff before you buy. I bought some snacks and had to exchange them cuz they were expired. But they gave me no issues since I had the receipt. Their return policy is only 7 days though psh so make sure to notice on time ?”

“This place has been here for a couple decades. They are always pleasant and welcoming. They carry a variety of household necessities, decorations, small appliances, undergarments, personal hygiene products, toys and gift items. They even have some beautiful plants. They have clothing and house shoes. There's honestly too much to list here. You have to check your bags in but don't be offended, so many stores in the area have had to close due to incessant shoplifting.”

I purchased an item and the receipt stated exchange within a week if the item is same condition and I was able to exchange.
