I can always find what I need, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I always enjoy shopping here. Definitely my go-to store for party supplies and last-minute finds. “This store is my #1 forever; simply the best. It's for the poor, very cheap, and you will always find what you want. They sell things that others don't have. They are kind, gentle, and beyond. They make my life easier”
“My Go To for balloons!!! ❤️?Staff is lovely. They carry a variety of items from stationary to cards and seasonal items. Ignore the other reviews about it being a hoard or disorganized. It’s a dollar store. Hello. I appreciate it’s in town. Great job to just a buck and beyond. ?”
“Is it just me? I go to Dollar Tree for a couple of items and leave the store about $50 lighter. Have never been able to go in and out with a shopping list, always buy more than anticipated.”
“Huge fan I just love dollar tree. This definitely wouldn't be my store as it has the most basic items and small verity. I personally love the one in fairview NJ the beat and Union NJ.”
“There's No A/C and that's an expense to pay.
Please Be Aware and Be Wary and Be Cautious of Unwanted, uninvited or inappropriate touching, patting, hugging or other physical contact (e.g. massaging a person without invitation or deliberately brushing up against them).
Nice staff
Some employees may be somewhere else in the store
Please have patience
Lines are very long and they move fast or slow. So do not let the lines stop you. If you go to this store it's best if you go when it's not too crowded/busy/ the line is up to the back of the store.
If you are just looking at stuff in the store please do not touch anything... It's best during day if possible. If it's at night before they close, not around the closing time...
Not too busy and able to get what you needed and get out in about 5 minutes or more. It might be more than a while when it gets really busy, a line at the front of the store
Please make sure to have the receipt.
Please clean up the place and Thank you ?
At the cashiers when it's paying it's saying hello... They scan items and let the customers know the total and mention enjoy your day, have a nice day... something similar is said sometimes or not”
“I usually don’t leave reviews, but this one is long overdue—and it’s actually the first review I’ve ever written.
The Dollar General in Lyndhurst, New Jersey has become one of the most warm and welcoming locations, and it’s all thanks to an employee named Mary. She is truly one of a kind—beautiful, vibrant, kind, and incredibly warm-hearted. She always acknowledges everyone, takes the time to speak, and makes each person feel seen and valued.
Her uplifting spirit brings so much joy to every visit. She is the main reason I choose this Dollar General over any other. I truly hope she is recognized and rewarded just as much as she brightens the days of everyone she meets. I thank God for people like her?”
“Today I visited This location gathering my last-minute laundry products and I definitely wanna give a quick shout out to Dawn !
She was so patient and knowledgeable, Working retail is not easy so having someone dependable like that on the team is always great. Overall, I always feel like the store is also well stocked and also organized however, I do feel that this shout out again is for Dawn. Here are your flowers, my friend you deserve it !
Thank you again !!”

“I love this store for its affordable prices and unique finds. I have been a client since the day one.
Sarah, throughout these years, always with a smile and consistently provides exceptionally friendly service by listening attentively to my concerns and those of other customers, responding with patience and knowledge about which line the products I need are in ?”
“This place has been here for a couple decades. They are always pleasant and welcoming. They carry a variety of household necessities, decorations, small appliances, undergarments, personal hygiene products, toys and gift items. They even have some beautiful plants. They have clothing and house shoes. There's honestly too much to list here. You have to check your bags in but don't be offended, so many stores in the area have had to close due to incessant shoplifting.”

“I usually shop online, but today I visited the dollar tree Maywood store, and I had a wonderful experience. The store was neat, clean, and very well organized. The customer service was excellent, and I really enjoyed my visit. A special thanks to Mary, who was so kind, welcoming, and professional. She treated me with great care. I will definitely be visiting again!”
“Lakea One of the managers is so sweet. I asked her if she could help me find a pill organizer and she could not find it at first. She tried her best. And as I was pulling away in my car, she stepped outside to call me back in because she had found it. I always come here and everyone’s awesome.”
“what a great store

“Lots of items to browse from at $1.25 and up. Deals and specials from household, toys, toiletries, garments, cleaning supplies, beverages, snacks, dairy, stationary, etc. Although, this particular store was a bit messy, I can blame it on a recent truck delivery of their supplies.”
“This store has a lot of merchandise to pick from for almost everything. The store is organized and clean. I usually go there to buy supplies for arts and crafts since I work with children and prices are ok.”
“Dollar Fortune is an amazing find in Union City! This is a great store where you can find everything you need for your home, from small tools and lightbulbs to kitchenware, cleaning supplies, and linens.
It's a cheap store, and the quality is very good, especially for the price. The woman at the counter is very nice, and even though she only speaks Spanish, it's easy to communicate with her. It's worth a visit if you need something for your home.”
“Best store. Management and employees know all their customers by name. I must go here twice a day. They have everything from food, household items, clothes to personal hygiene and electronics. It's very well run. Management really makes the store”

“When my mother was having surgery in 2020 at New York Presbyterian Hospital over there I went to that store 99 Cents of St. Nicholas while waiting for it to be done. I bought her a nice amount of stuff before my father, & I were able to go in to see her after the surgery was taken care of. A real nice amount of stuff for a real good price. Employee's were respectful as well.Thank you.”
“I travel about 25 mins just to come to this location compared to the one 5 mins from my house. The best part of this location is how cleaned and organized it is. As well how it’s always stocked with awesome items. The staff is usually really nice as well.”
“I've been to plenty of dollar tree's. This is by far the cleanest and most organized one i've been to. The staff was so helpful and patient. I came in to get 20 balloons, a task that would have been quite the hassle for a staff member to do. But Chrissy/Krissy helped me out, had so much patience, didn't complain once, and was very nice and easy to talk to. They were also very helpful over the phone. Locally, this is the only dollar tree i'm gonna go to in the future. I was pleasantly surprised.”
“Great local store with a variety of products for your home. I was able to purchase silverware for the kitchen, cleaning supplies, socks, and even a lottery ticket. Very friendly store manager. I'm very thrilled to have the store close to my home also.”
