Special shout out to Susan R ,who rang up our purchase and patiently helped me go get the item she directed me to but still couldnt find. They open early & close late. Except Sunday, obviously. They COULD open at 9am on Sunday, but they don’t. Probably because Liquor Barn doesn’t open until 11am. The whole competition thing.
Edit: THEY CHANGED THE SATURDAY HOURS. Now open at 10am. Not a fan.”
“Stopped into Liquor Saver in Somerville and was really impressed. As someone who spends a lot of time in the bourbon world, this place stands out - strong selection and clearly curated by people who know what they are doing. What really made the experience, though, was the owners, Pearl and Nirav. They were incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in building relationships, not just making a sale. We spent a good amount of time talking and never felt rushed. Also a great wine selection. Looking forward to coming back.”

“Bottle came quickly and packed very well. However, I purchased a limited edition alcohol as a gift and the presentation box came broken and taped up to fix it. For a bottle that costs a few hundred and mostly for presentation I'd expect a little more cafe in its display or at least a forewarning. It's a bit upsetting but the bottle itself came intact so I can't say much else.”

“They have good prices for a very small neighborhood store. As a matter of fact they have the best prices in Plainfield. They don't have a large selection of fancy wines, however they have a very full stock of products that the local people buy. The beer is very cold and the staff is very warm and friendly. I go out of my way to buy from this store because the prices are fair. All of the products have the prices labeled and you know how much the bottle cost. In other stores the prices are not labeled and when you ask how much the bottle is, they look you to figure out how much they can charge you by the way you look.”
“This is one of few places where you can find a good quality of Peruvian Wine,Tabernero, Queirolo in all styles but my favorite is Borgona Wine by Ocucaje amaizing taste. Tumbs Up !”
