“Very informative, kind, and compassionate staff. I brought my cat in today for scabs on his chin that he scratched open and bleeding on and off. The girls at the front were very kind over the phone and in person. They were able to fit me in same day within a few hours. My little old man doesn’t like to be handled much especially around his face but the doctor and technician were very gentle and patient with him, giving him breaks when needed. I’m very happy with the care received today and learned that cats can have acne like humans! We got some medicated wipes to go home with and he seems to be more comfortable already. Thank you Dr Pascucci for taking care of my boy”

They are OUTSTANDING examples of truly compassionate expert care and never once backed down from the increasing complexity of keeping him comfortable. This is by far the best vet of the many we've been to. Our experiences were primarily with Dr. Lorig, who is absolutely incredible, but all of the other vets, techs and receptionists we've had help us were also outstanding. Whenever we need paperwork for proof of vaccination, etc., it’s so easy to contact the office. My family knows this practice as “no nonsense”- so far recommending only those procedures that are necessary and reasonable for our unique circumstances. As a first time dog mom, there was no question in my mind of who my vet was going to be.”

“Martinsville Veterinary Hospital is a lifesaver! Our cat had bad digestion issues, and they squeezed us in without an appointment. We only waited about 15 minutes! The place was super clean, and everyone was so friendly and professional.
They did a quick exam and prescribed antibiotics that worked wonders. They were really understanding about our tight budget and even gave us some free donated medications. They also provided a plan of action in case the situation got worse, and told us to contact them asap if it does.
Can't recommend this place enough. It's clear they really care about animals and their humans too. Definitely our new go-to vet!”

Howard Veterinary services. He came highly recommended from a friend, who is an ER. Doctor & an animal lover.
His staff was polite, helpful & very responsive. He is an experienced vet with a caring, loving bedside manner. I haven't had a new puppy for many years. I called around to a few local vets & when I spoke to his office staff, I knew right away, he would be our vet. They are very accommodating, explained exactly the process and what vaccines the puppy would need for the future. They did not oversell like some of the other practices I spoke to, and were conservative on extra shots & vaccines she would need. We have been back several times now & everytime has been a great experience. If you are looking for a new vet, I highly recommend Dr. Howard Veterinary services.”

She is what you hope for in a family vet❤️ you don’t see this much anymore. “Absolutely fantastic experience for an emergency visit. One of my dogs had a mysterious rash & was biting & scratching himself raw. Regular vet could not make time & said about 2wks for appt, ER vet said to come & check in but then said I had to wait in car & they would call in 4-5hrs. I called Washington Street Veterinary & they were kind enough to see my dog within the hour, efficiently diagnosed & treated for allergic reaction. They gave me meds & shampoo & scheduled a follow up for a week. Had a third follow up with shot again. Each visit was pleasant & efficient, so much so that while I really like my old vet that practice is too busy & hard to get appts & lots of waiting past appt time so I will make Washington Street my new animal care provider. Excellent service each visit”
