“I recently had a very enjoyable stay at the Howard Johnson in Blackwood. The rooms were both comfortable and well-kept, featuring a spacious layout that made it easy to relax after a busy day. “I had an excellent stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Philadelphia Navy Yard. The service was fantastic—staff were friendly and attentive. The location is ideal, especially if you’re planning to attend Phillies or Eagles games, as it’s just a short distance from the stadiums. There was plenty of parking available, making the experience stress-free. I stayed here for work, and they were truly awesome, even offering a free shuttle to Center City every 15 minutes, which made exploring Philadelphia convenient. Overall, it’s a great spot to rest and discover the city’s attractions. Highly recommended! ❤️”

“I wish the room had been a little cleaner when I arrived. The rug needed to be vacuumed and the floor needed to be swept. Other than that my stay was very nice!

“Best possible location in walking distance from historic landmarks and sights as well as many restaurants and bars.
+ Happy hour with free wine, beer and snacks daily 5-7:30pm
+ Friendly service, well-maintained property
- Very dated window unit AC that makes a lot of noise when you try to sleep at night
- Asked housekeeping to come back later, then asked the receptionist to remind housekeeping, they never came that day
- WiFi worked fine on day 1 but failed on day 2
- Breakfast is very basic, the best part is coffee and juice

Rooms: The rooms are compact but contain all necessary amenities including iron and hairdryer. I suggest updating the AC to something modern, effective and quieter

Safety: There's 24/7 front desk attendance and they lock the front door late at night.

Walkability: Great walkable location!

Food & drinks: The afternoon social event is great but the breakfast could be improved.”

“My wife and I stayed here before our wedding and loved it so much that we stayed again after our wedding in February! Talk about boutique and quality! From the moment you walk in, you can see the art decor surrounding you that makes you feel like you're in some kind of modern museum. It's beautiful! Staff is professional and polite (especially the bell hops). The food ... The food and drinks at the Red Owl Tavern are absolutely amazing! We tried the pierogis and I loved them so much I had to run it back twice the next day! Drinks taste like craft beverages, worth the price. We keep staying on days that the rooftop lounge is closed so hoping to see that next time! 10/10 recommend staying here !”

“The hotel rooms are very comfortable and clean. What stood out though was the customer service. We had the pleasure of meeting Tanya at the breakfast station. She was warm and engaging, with a great attitude while surrounded by messy kids. Five stars for Tanya and the staff!”

“We met a family member at this hotel because he was working in the area . So we stayed over after going out to dinner . We didn't need anything fancy for one night & just wanted a clean , quiet place to stay.
Lobby / reception...nothing fancy but clean & quiet . Front desk staff was friendly and polite .
Room ..we had a king sized bed . A bit firm but comfortable. 4 pillows & I found one that was super comfy for my " squishy" pillow addiction . A pillow can make or break a good night's sleep . So thumbs up to their pillows! Blankets were comfy and all sheets pillows , blankets were spotless and smelled clean! The room was nice . Not overly large but we didn't really care . It had everything we needed . We had a fridge & coffee maker . The bathroom was spotless with plush towels and dove soaps .

We didn't hear one noise to disturb us all night . We were on the 4 th floor . I don't think the hotel was very full but nonetheless it was a restful night's sleep.
Breakfast was very good ! Waffles ,eggs , sausage , hot cinnamon buns! Very good coffee .
Don't hesitate to book a quick overnight here if you are looking for a restful ,quiet night's sleep. Located within walking distance of several restaurants as well .

“This was my first time staying it definitely won’t be my last great customer service. I love the hotel. You have a very quiet area where you can sit down relax read a book. The pool area is very nice. Loved basketball court is a good home away from home when visiting family..

“When we first booked our hotel block, we booked with David, who at the time was the General Manager of the hotel and he was amazing. Fast forward about a year later, I needed to add rooms to our block so I go to call David to discover he no longer works there. I tried calling the front desk who told me that they’ll have the new GM call me back, I never got a call back so I called again the next day, again the GM is busy and can’t talk, this happened about 5 times until I eventually got through to the GM who gave me a hard time about adding rooms. Aside from that we got the rooms booked and everything was fine, until we went to check into our rooms, when we arrived at the hotel for check in, the two girls at the front desk (they were absolutely lovely no complaints about them) apologized because a majority of the rooms were not going to be ready for check in at our set time. The cleaning lady was in the lobby giving the girls at the front desk a hard time about cleaning the rooms and basically berating them infront of guests, complaining that there are three wedding blocks that weekend. They also agreed to give out our welcome bags and those two girls did give them out but during a shift change or whenever those girls were not present at check in the welcome bags were not given out. Overall, the hotel was fine, it was not great but it got the job done.”

“This motel is in a nice location.
It's not far from Rowan college and down town glassboro shopping ?️ district. The owner is very very nice. The price is reasonable.
However, there's a lot of displaced families living here with dogs that look unkept. Many people living here has stopped paying this owner rent for their rooms and talking trash to him and the township and courts are cosigning this behavior by telling them they don't have to leave. It's not fair that this business owner has to take this type of financial hit. The township and courts must provide this owner and any other motel in the area with some type of financial help to house these families.
This owner has be more than fair with the occupants....
He should not have to lose thousands of dollars and be disrespected....
I gave high ⭐ because this owner is an honorable person. To bad these occupants aren't!!!!”

“I had my mom stay here around New Years. (I live close by). Price was not great but her stay was good. She said her room was immaculate and stocked fully. Her only remarks were concerning the lobby which looks like a construction zone and thought the rugs and walls in the hallways and stairwells should be updated and could use a new coat of paint. Staff was very accommodating and nice with the exception of a woman at the front desk that seemed to be bothered. Having worked for Holiday Inn for many years I know that the front desk employee should be smiling and friendly (even if you're feeling bothered). That can make or break ur decision to stay since there are other hotel options all around.”

“Geesh….. the reviews are pretty harsh ….thankfully I didn’t experience anything that bad . I didn’t see any bed bugs the tub worked great and my room as was clean I stayed in the blue lagoon room . Only thing could have been better was a microwave and that was it. We also got a complimentary bottle with our room

“We stayed at Residence In Deptford recently while visiting family. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean & spacious. We had a very nice kitchen area which included a nice size frig, microwave, stovetop, sink, & counterspace. There was a large closet with plenty of hangers. the tv was large & could be turned to face the sofa area or the King size bed. Breakfast was outstanding. We couldn't have been happier with our experience, and would definitely stay here again.”

“Gm , I had a week off so I decided to go to the budget motel on mt Ephriam ave , haven’t been there in yrs it changed so much nice big comfortable bed Nice TV with cable got a little refrigerator in there it was clean and quite housekeeping Comes everyday to make sure you good it was perfect, trust me I’ll be back the next time I’m off . “I stayed for 3 weeks. It was mostly quiet here. Mostly travelers and sketchy persons like myself. The bed was comfy and tv was basic cable. Yes there are roaches here i saw more than a few during my stay. Lots of options for food nearby. Good place to relax and smoke. I would come here again.”
