“I was here tonight for my first time watching Celtic Thunder's concert. Externally, it's a beautiful building and a nice parking lot (plenty of space!).
It's got a nice vibe inside that could use a little TLC. Views of the stage are amazing, and there are no limited sight locations. Would definitely attend another event here. It's a challenge for anyone who is mobility limited. Lots and lots of steps. Because it's a theater, no handrails going up aisles.”

“The last time I laughed this hard was the last time my whole family was together on thanksgiving before our big fight. Mask and Wig restored joy in my life. I was in a really dark place but at Mask and Wig I laughed from start to finish and was reminded that there really is hope.”
“I held my girlfriend’s 30th birthday party at choppers cause we knew we wanted to do a fun activity with family and friends. I spoke with Dom a month in advance to let him know my plans to invite around 40 people and bring food and drinks. He was really helpful and accommodating while answering my million questions. The venue is large and the staff reserved a spot towards the back, away from all the other guests. Having our own dedicated refrigerators For drinks and a birthday cake was a convenience that I didn’t know I needed.The coaches themselves were friendly and knew how to wrangle in the crowd of (partially drunk) people. All in all, I would definitely come back and host any type of event here in the future!”
“This is one of the coolest examples of reusing a building. This building is packed with culinary art, craftsmanship, creative childcare, and positive energy. I am always amazed how they were able to turn a school into such a creative and energetic space. I hope to see more of this throughout our city !”

“Large screen, large viewing area, clean, clean restrooms, everything was perfect except for one thing. There was only one concession stand open and I had four people with me and had to wait in line for almost 40 minutes. Still, I did not purchase any food because I couldn't wait any longer. I spent most of my time in line and missed the movie that I paid to see. Other than that it would have been a five star.”
“Celebrated my daughter's quinceanera at Collingswood Grand Ballroom in October. What an amazing experience it was! Paula was incredible to work with, made the day feel relaxed and jumped in to help without hesitation. She felt like family! Her team was also pleasant and great to work with.
One thing that really stood out to me and said a lot about Paula and her team - my decorator was not the nicest to them, unfortunately, but at the end of the night, I found Paula and her team folding the decorator's decorative napkins, placing it in a bin ready for pick up. They could've very easily left it all out for the decorator to pack on her own, instead, they took the high road and jumped in to help before the decorator even arrived back on site to pack up her own items. This left a lasting impression and says a lot about the character of the team at Collingswood Grand Ballroom.
I'd recommend Collingswood Grand Ballroom and Paula to everyone!”
“We went there for a wedding, so we were limited to the choices of our host. The grounds were nice and the food at the cocktail hour was amazing. We are vegetarian, so we were provided with eggplant parm instead of the buffet. The Eggplant was just OK as were the desserts.”
“Public skate was well stocked. Music was nice. Staff was young but friendly. Not all services are open at once.Only real complaint was that: we stopped to watch a roller blade hockey game that was playing and it smelled like a dorm room. But that's like saying water is wet.11/10”
“The Food and service were excellent. We started off with the Long Hots, done perfectly, then I had French Onion Soup and my wife had Cesar Salad. Great choice. Moving on to dinner, my WIfe had the Lobster Ravioli and I had the Veal Chop Parm. Everything was great”

“My granddaughter's sweet 16 was held here. OMG, this place is really beautiful when everything is set up, and it is bigger than it seems. The only downfall is that you can not cook in the kitchen. Of course, some people just had to ruin it for everybody else. But otherwise this is a beautiful place with a great atmosphere to really enjoy yourself! Check it out for your next event if you live in the area.”

“The arcade isn't the best in the world, a few of the machines didn't work properly. The pin machine in the bowling alley also had a few issues once or twice, which was annoying. Besides that, it's a fun place to hang out, with pretty good food and good service.”

“Old Pine has been a great support to all ages of Philly residents in our community, especially during COVID! I've donated supplies and money and have been impressed by how they're able to get the most out of their donations. They provide meals and necessities to anyone struggling and offer afterschool activities for youth. Their intrepid volunteers keep the facility and grounds looking fresh. They just gave the outdoor benches a rainbow coat of paint. Volunteers are welcome to come help out. Thanks for all you do!”

“Highly, highly recommend! My wife and I had our wedding reception here and Shana and her team made everything so easy. It's a beautiful venue, extremely accommodating, and having access to two entire floors meant that we could really design our evening as perfectly as we wished. For couples doing a DIY wedding this venue is unmatched!
We originally thought of it because we had taken salsa and bachata classes here a year or two before we got engaged. The dance classes were also fabulous!

“My family and I lost our mother in March 2024 and due to a series of unfortunate events, we did not have a memorial right away. We decided to have a Celebration of Life and in our search for a venue we came across Embellish Events. From start to finish the communication, empathy, compassion, multiple efforts to accommodate each and every one of our requests was nothing short of amazing! The entire staff was amazing!
