“I live 2 blocks away and travel across town instead of going here. I've tried visiting 8 times in the past 6 months and there is ALWAYS A BEGGER out front. They sometimes want money, most of the time ask for you to buy them a bottle. The employees say they can't do anything more about it. But they are literally standing on their property (on their stairs or outside the door on the top of the handicap ramp) the rest of bound brook doesn't have this problem. I have no problem with handing out money but these guys are just taking advantage of a spotUPDATE: Employees and management have officially dealt with the situation and this place is very pleasant these days. Great prices and employees”
“Hoboken Brewing(my personal fav) and so many other craft beers. If you like coconut you MUST try the Bodi Blonde Coconut Ale. Swing Juice & Cityside IPA are to die for as well. Amazing spot and the owner Sam is super nice & helpful!”

“Fantastic selection. Very helpful employees. In the time that we were browsing , two employees asked if we needed help. Special shout out to Susan R ,who rang up our purchase and patiently helped me go get the item she directed me to but still couldnt find. As a retail manager who lives out of state, I can tell her boss that she would be exactly who I'd want as the face of my business. When you have competition all over the area, it's your staff that sets you apart, and Susan does just that. Will use this liquor store for our needs whenever I visit!”

“Been coming here for a couple years now. Joe and Tony are always super friendly and helpful no matter if you’re looking to try something new or searching for a gift. The place has a huge selection and even has different international drinks also. The store has a dedicated parking lot too which makes it easy to just go in and out quickly when needed. Great local business and people.”
“Been shopping here for years. The Owner is extremely knowledgeable in both brewing and equipment. Novice or Expert they have what you need, but what made me post a review after 5+ years?
I was there today with my infant son and I told the owner i would have to come back for the mash kits as I couldn't carry my son and the kits at the same time. Unprompted the owner grabbed the kits and walked them to my car. Now there is an owner that loves their customers”

They open early & close late. Except Sunday, obviously. They COULD open at 9am on Sunday, but they don’t. Probably because Liquor Barn doesn’t open until 11am. The whole competition thing.
Edit: THEY CHANGED THE SATURDAY HOURS. Now open at 10am. Not a fan.”

As someone who spends a lot of time in the bourbon world, this place stands out - strong selection and clearly curated by people who know what they are doing. What really made the experience, though, was the owners, Pearl and Nirav. They were incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in building relationships, not just making a sale. We spent a good amount of time talking and never felt rushed. Also a great wine selection. Looking forward to coming back.”
“What a gem of a place! I was in a pinch and needed some wine for holiday gifts. I placed an order the night before last and they showed up wrapped and all less than 12 hours after I ordered them!
