“BM resolved a peskie intermittent P0014 code on my Toyota Tundra. It was not the VVT sensor that a few other mechanics diagnosed. The sensor was replaced and the code kept coming back. BM identified the cause to be a defective oil filter which was what i thought to be Toyota OEM oil filter I acquired from AMAZON that was replaced at the previous oil change only couple thousand miles ago. BM replaced the oil filter and no more P0014 code since.”

“I've heard it said before that 'any mechanic can change parts, what makes a good mechanic is diagnostics'. Rob at Octane Garage is the best of the best when it comes to diagnostics. I've been to several garages with an EVAP issue for three months and no one could find the problem but Rob found the issue on the very first day and also found an underlying issue with something that would cause me a problem down the road. “My vehicle was delivered to this repair shop after it broke down on the side of the road. My boyfriend found the shop and had it towed there. I was initially resistant to the repair shop checking all aspects of the vehicle because I had a previous evaluation done stating the starter wasn't working. However, the shop's leader said he would do what I asked, but the car hasn't been fully checked. After further examination, the shopkeeper found that the engine was blown. I was grateful that I didn't move forward with a starter.”

“Once again John and the Crew took care of me in record time, what was only to be an engine oil change, tires balanced and rotation, turned out to be much more then I realized as to what I actually needed at that moment.
I arrived at 7:50 AM Tuesday morning, and within minutes the guys had my RR L405 on the lift, they showed me just had bad my tires had worn on the inside edge, also my front rotors and pads were in need of replacement in the very near future, along with two tpms sensors, so I ended up with 4 new tires, 2 sensors, front rotors (high carbon) and pads, an alignment, and the oil change, John was able to source the tires and parts within an hour, he gave me 3 choices of tires, and 2 choices for the front rotors and pads, I went with the Continental DWS tires, and the high carbon rotors, John then gave me a loaner so I could go home and pack, the Crew had my vehicle ready and waiting at 1:52 PM same day, I then proceeded on my 1200ish mile drive straight through without any issues, the new tires and brakes gave a great new ride (feeling) to the vehicle.
You can not ask for quicker quality service and professionalism then you will receive here.

“Unfortunately my transfer case broke one night on my way home from work in mid September 2021. I had AAA tow it to a local shop. That guy didn’t have the capability to fix it so he sent it to a well known franchise transmission shop who’s initials are LM. Well LM gave me a quote of $3000 to fix the broken transfer case with a 30 day guarantee! Me not knowing much about cars knew that was a very bad deal. I then reached out to my cousin who works at a Chevrolet dealership (I have a Chevy) to see if I could purchase the part from him. I could but with the supply chain issue, the part wouldn’t be available until mid November (a 2 month wait). I relayed this message to LM and he told me I had to have my car towed back to my house until the part came in. Problem with that is I don’t have driveway parking and wouldn’t be able to move the car if needed (such as for the never ending street repairs or snow). I asked him to give me a day to figure out what I could do. The next day I got very busy and didn’t get to figure something out. Late afternoon, LM called and said he had put my car on the street and in Union where he is located, there is no overnight parking so the car will be impounded. I googled “Transmission Shops” and found Dr. Marv’s. He had great reviews so I called him. I explained about the 2 month wait for the part and asked if he would be able to store my car. They said yes and couldn’t have been nicer! So I had the car towed to Dr. Marv’s! More supply chain issues and my part didn’t come in until the end of January 2022. I kept Dr. Marv’s informed of this. As soon as the part was received by them, my car was fixed a day later! Not only did they do a terrific job but between the cost of the new part and the installation by Dr. Marv’s, my cost was far less than the $3000 quote from the other transmission shop!
