I've been to several garages with an EVAP issue for three months and no one could find the problem but Rob found the issue on the very first day and also found an underlying issue with something that would cause me a problem down the road. “BM resolved a peskie intermittent P0014 code on my Toyota Tundra. It was not the VVT sensor that a few other mechanics diagnosed. The sensor was replaced and the code kept coming back. BM identified the cause to be a defective oil filter which was what i thought to be Toyota OEM oil filter I acquired from AMAZON that was replaced at the previous oil change only couple thousand miles ago. BM replaced the oil filter and no more P0014 code since.”

“I worked with Sal at Fanwood Transmissions to figure out a noise my 2004 Honda Pilot was making that no other shop could seem to figure out; and the green D light was blinking on occasion. Sal definitely knows transmissions and was able to tell me what was causing the noise (exhaust system) and replace the part in the transmission causing the D light to blink instead of having to replace the whole transmission. Sal is fair in what he charges and honest. I highly recommend Fanwood Transmissions for all your transmission needs!”

“The owner and his team here are great. Several of the mechanics have been here for years. Pricing is right, they are super friendly, and they don’t seem to try and sell you on unnecessary nonsense. They are accommodating with scheduling and they definitely appreciate their customers. When one of my cars was getting older they started work, figured out it was a bigger issue than expected, and then put it back together without any charge so I could just go sell it.

“I brought my car in because it was making an odd noise. I described it to the mechanic. he suggested driving around the block so he could hear it. The noise was gone - I hadn't heard it since before a trip on the turnpike this morning. His estimation is that there was some kind of debris stuck under the car and that it had probably dislodged. Cost: Zero!”
