I scheduled a geek squad appointment for an installation and on the day of the appointment nobody showed up at all and nobody called to say anything. I spent an hour on the call with customer service but nothing came out of that because nobody followed up with a phone call or another appointment. Terrible support

My shopping experience at Best Buy was stellar!! Vinnie, a blue shirt associate could not have been more professional, or kind. He directed me to GEEK SQUAD for my particular project, and Chris , helped me with professionalism, speed, and care! Kudos to Best Buy for these OUTSTANDING associates! My partner and I are basically computer illiterate. We purchased a new Samsung notebook last week and within a few days, the screen was frozen. After trying to fix it ourselves, we had no luck. I brought the Notebook to the Geek Squad- inside of Best Buy at 51 Cambers Bridge Rd in Brick. I did no make an appointment and took a chance to get in the repair line. A super kind & very computer knowledgeable Geek Squad employee named Deanna offered to look at my computer. Despite a warning that had taken over our computer screen that said our PC needed repair, we learned that was a scam! Grrr! Luckily, our computer did not have malware or a virus- but a pop up was blocking our screen. Deanna fixed the problem in a few minutes & sent us on our way! She did not even charge us as the repair was minimal. I will never hesitate to return to this business. Geek Store, and their employee Deanna, are computer repair rock stars! I appreciated their help so much!

Horrible horrible customer service!! I bought a $500 gift card 2 years ago and just tried to use it and it was a $100 gift card!!! For 2 days I went to the store in Brick, they told me I have to call 888BETSBUY.... 2 days I've been on the phone and they keep passing the buck... I just want my $400 back... I'm going there again first thing.... After I get my money back (I better!!) I will never shop at Best Buy again!!! Not worth the aggravation!

If you purchase an extended warranty, don't expect them to honor their appointments! My Dishwasher was scheduled for repair (took 2 weeks to get an appointment). I received several reminders of the appointment and then checked on line at 12:35am on the day of the appointment to be sure all was well. I was assured that all was well. Appointment between 7am and 1 pm confirmed via online chat. When it got to be 8am and there was no indication of a closer timeframe, I called and was told my appointment had been cancelled. It seems that the technician cancelled the appointment because he could not contact on the day BEFORE the appointment. I received no emails or phone calls from the technician. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment. Best Buyer Beware!

Absolutely terrible customer service! I walked in the store with my husband just now and not one employee talked to us. We walked all around the EMPTY store and couldn't find anyone. I found 3 people at the customer service desk, 2 in blue shirts, 1 in black, and they were having a personal conversation. The woman with long straight hair looked at me, didn't even ask what I needed, and continued talking to her coworkers. So I stood on line, until another customer walked up to them, even though he saw I was waiting on line, and asked a question from the curly haired man in the black shirt. We finally found an employee in a corner on his cell phone who helped us, and after we made our purchase and we were walking out the door, the curly haired man with the black shirt didn't even say goodbye to us. He was at the door, on his cell phone. From now on, I'm sticking with Amazon.

Had just left this location and walked out within five minutes. I had seen three employees gathered together having a conversation. I walked up to them to ask a question and they didn't even turn around to acknowledge me. So I walked away to find what I was looking for and as I expected, there was a very poor selection of this one item. Back to AMAZON.COM

Horrible Customer Service Stopped in today to purchased a laptop. Talked to salesperson at computer section counter and told him I wanted to purchase a HP laptop. He told he would be right over. After waiting for 10 minutes, I noticed the salesperson was playing around on his phone and a second salesperson was dusting off the computers. There was no other customers in the computer section. I do not know why I waste my time and gas driving to big box stores jus to be disappointed. I will just purchased from Amazon.

I just wanted to acknowledge an employee at Best Buys in Brick, NJ. I purchased a kegerator on Friday and the employee that I dealt with could not have been more attentive to my needs. Her name is Shannon O'Connor and she was the best - knowledgable, polite, patient and informative. In this day and age it is difficult to find people who know what they are selling in these types of stores but Shannon knew her stuff. Shannon is a definite asset to this company and makes me want to go back to this location!!! Thank you, Shannon!

Do yourself a favor stay away from Best Buy in Newington NH I ordered a dishwasher and install the driver came said he could not install it the driver went back to his truck never came in the house with it and guess what I'm being charged a installation fee of $216 dollars he came in with nothing touched nothing what's the fee for walking in the house??? Oh did I mention my 2 and a half hour phone call where they just keep sending you to another caller who can't help you go to lowes Home Depot don't waste ur money forgot to mention the caller who said oh they have been doing that lately sending drivers who can't install this review is for Best Buy in Newington NH

I try to use Best Buy before going online for most tech purchases. I usually find their sales people helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate their warrantee service. I've even used the automotive bay in the back and found the guys really helpful. This would be a 5-Star review if it weren't for a recent bad customer service experience.

So my switch speakers broke and I went to replace them myself but my console is 4 years old and the screws had become stripped with time. This issue is preventing from doing a home repair as I don't have a strip screw kit at the moment. So I think to myself my console is out of warranty why not call Best Buy as they have fixed my computers quite well in the past. So I call them up on my lunch break at work only for them to tell me I have to be part of their 200 dollar family tech care program in order for them to fix my switch and on top of that the repair fee would be 50 dollars. Suffice to say I didn't even bother making the appointment. To put it in prospective for 50 dollars more you could buy a new switch. If I had that kind of money witch I don't, I would just replace the current unit with the newer model. Im am very disappointed in geek squad and I will no longer be doing business with them. So now I'm stuck with a switch that has no sound. Do not go to Best Buy to get your console fixed unless you want to pay an arm and a leg.

Never buy a Sony tv. Originally had a Samsung and loved it. Was just looking to upgrade the size. They talked up Sony...so we bit the bullet. two months after the warranty expired, the tv completely stopped working and not best buy or Sony would do anything to help out. 1500 wasted. My next TV will be coming from Amazon.

Scammed again. I guess shame on me. I went to the store to buy $630 worth of mesh wifi. According to the website, "in stock" at the Brick store... drove there... the associate said the product was not available in store but could be shipped for delivery the next day. Grrr. Ok. Next day I get an email, "delayed", no update, just "we'll ship it when It's available." So the "next day" was just a way to get the sale and prevent me from buying elsewhere.

DO NOT buy from Best Buy especially Geek Squad. I bought a whole entertainment system. TV, sound system. about $14,000 in 2016. It was not working correctly starting in 2017. Stopped working altogether during pandemic. Called to get it fixed after getting my vaccine so i could have someone in my home. Geek Squad is the WORST (George and Amanda, from escalation) told me that they would not uphold warranty because they were going into people's homes during a time when no one was allowed out except for essential workers!!! So a terrible system. Bad products and service! They don't stand by their work! They disconnect you consistently when you call for help too!
