“We came up to visit for the weekend. Wanted to pick up some groceries and found this little charm. All of the employees were very friendly. One of them told us their ground meat is fresh and I believe it. We had meats and cheeses from the deli counter - super fresh and delicious. Our sandwiches were perfect. Seems like we arrived before shipment but still were about to get everything for our weekend. Highly recommend”

“The food here is spectacular, especially their cheesesteak egg rolls, Jamaican beef & cheese patties, also love their food from the grill like the cheesesteak meal (always with fried onions, mayo, extra cheese, lettuce;I add ketchup but my husband hates it with ketchup so I add it later for myself), they also have homemade desserts I love and recently my husband came across these chocolate muffins we are obsessed with! The staff are so beyond nice. It's always the stores that have a grill that usually aren't what you'd look at on the surface and expect it to be any good by that's what it is exactly! It's not a dress up and spend a fortune place.... it's a comfort (someone's hangover cure) hidden gem, need extra napkins, now one of your must have food every time your come to Atlantic City. Locals definitely appreciate them!”

Though, the service you get depends a lot on who's working there that day + crowding in the store.The food is always good, and very fairly priced (you can get a cheeseburger, fries, and a can of soda for around $7)It is also wheelchair accessible, with a ramp right next to the stairs closest to the entrance.Sometimes they do not answer the phones, which can making ordering ahead more of a hassle than it needs to be.Despite this, the cooks and cashiers are very kind and the place is kept clean. In the back they have a huge butcher shop with all kinda of freshly cut meats, chicken and seafood by pound. “Wonderful addition to the area.... Must be checked out in detail to appreciate.... Think a smaller highly curated but even more special selection Eataly. The wine shop has beautiful boutique wines from all over the world, especially France and Italy and California. And if you love the special sparkling roses, they've got an enormous selection relative to other places. I The food side is notable for great bread used in their bahn mi ,cheeses among other things, lots of great condiments and apps for cooking. Two gentle and respectful suggestions, but ones which I think would encourage regular return visits in the off-season is to have a set of wines that you could pay tastings and then buy if you like and rotate them on a regular basis to allow one to try the fantastic variety available. This is just what they do in the small wine shops of Tuscany etc. The second is maybe just have a slightly wider selection of customizable Banh mi options.... Maybe like a couple of beef products or specific cheese selections for the sandwich in addition to the traditional pork-based options. You could just survey some of the best bahn shops in Saigon or the Marais for ideas but I'm sure you're already know this world. Okay that's enough for now. “The guy that’s always there is very friendly and helpful. He always provides quick service even when he is alone and gets swamped with people. He will have 5 people in the lotto line and 3 in the regular line and he will have everyone rung up and done in no time! And it’s convenient since I live nearby and can walk there. They have a good selection of lottery scratch offs as well. The laundromat next door is definitely a plus also!”

“Could not even find an overpriced bottle of water at the Tropicana. Went a cross the street to this wonderful little market. Prices are better than any of the chain places. Got water, Gatorade, vitamin water, Arizona tea, a banana, and a Snickers icecream bar all for under $8. 7-11 has nothing on this place.”
