Cape May Point State Park is a nice place to visit with a beautiful lighthouse, nice trails, and views. The beach is clean and never too crowded, though swimming is prohibited. There are clean restrooms available. Visitors love the nature trails, where they can get close to swans and ducks and experience different things. It is free to visit. There is not much shade, so bringing water is advised. Dogs are allowed in the off-season. Staff members are often available to answer questions.
I love hanging out with the bird watchers and admire their expertise and enthusiasm. Most of the time there are staff members answering questions. Love the nature trails and able to get close to swans and ducks.

Grew up in the summers at Cape May Point - so many memories and this lighthouse was definitely a beacon on many nights we would all be out having fun with our siblings, cousins and friends 🧡 Nice trails and views- a must for everyone when traveling to the shore.
