Carroll Villa Hotel is a charming and lovely small town hotel, perfect for a weekend getaway. It offers beautiful, clean, and spacious rooms full of Victorian charm and historic character, blending elegance with comfort and a quiet atmosphere. The location is outstanding, perfect for Cape May's main attractions, and is within a short walking distance from the beach, shopping, and the Washington Street Mall. The attached Mad Batter restaurant is outstanding, serving delicious breakfasts, fresh and flavorful meals, and famous chocolate chip pancakes. The bar offers drinks and music. The staff are absolutely charming, friendly, warm, welcoming, helpful, and gracious, making guests feel right at home. A noted consideration is that there is no parking at the hotel, with designated parking a short walk away. Some guests also noted the absence of private outdoor seating and found the beds to be stiff. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay and dine, with many guests planning to return and highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel and staff, had a king room very clean, nice elegant and spacious , perfect location for cape may, will be coming back for sure. would highly recommend staying!

We stopped by for brunch. Quite the wait, so we took our pager up to the mall and visited our favorite shops. Food was very delicious and our waitress very attentive.
