“They did a very good job with this hotel. The rooms are updated and comfortable. Free parking on premises. Close to all the attractions. And best of all, they are dog friendly, which helps us out a lot. The people working in the office are very friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again and plan to.”

“FANTASTIC experience! I highly recommend the Blue Fish Inn. We had 2 rooms for 3 nights for us and family. Lena was beyond gracious with our ever-evolving plans, adding an extra night and sending confirmation emails immediately. It was a rare experience to have such dedicated, attentive, and kind owners. The rooms and property were immaculate and a welcome place to stay. We had our 9 lb. chihuahua with us and loved that they provided sheets to cover the couches and bed. The laminated instructions were very helpful for the TV. We appreciated being able to rent by the day and being pet-friendly. The pet-relief area was great, as well. I can't say enough about this place and the owners. If we are given the opportunity, we would stay here again and again.”

“My husband and I stayed at the Mason Cottage overnight in the Hughes room. The B&B is stunning during Christmas time and the Inn keepers were extremely friendly. I called to ask them if we could check in a little early and they were very accommodating. The location of this bed and breakfast is also amazing! A short one block walk to the beach where we watched the sunset and sunrise. It’s also just about a 3 block walk to the main hub of activity in Washington street mall. There’s lots of cool small shops with great restaurants nearby. The area is very walkable and a gorgeous place to take a stroll and admire all the preserved vintage homes. Couldn’t recommend them enough ☺️”

“The Virginia Hotel is one of the crown jewels of Cape May. The staff and management provided impeccable customer service from the moment we walked in to the moment we departed. Our room was cozy and very comfortable. And the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. We had dinner in the Ebbitt room and what a superb experience. Once again, impeccable service topped off with delectable food in a beautiful Victorian setting. The entire staff at the Virginia Hotel and Ebbitt Room went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible. And they definitely accomplished it. Special thanks to Trey, Milos our server and Nicholas the General Manager. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful and memorable. We look forward to returning soon.”

“Perfect spot for a weekend getaway! We stayed in room 14 on the third floor which felt very private and was pleasantly surprised by the updated and large bathroom. Delicious breakfast at the Mad Batter that was mostly comped by the $30 daily voucher. Our unexpectedly favorite feature was the cozy lounge area we used to have a drink by the fireplace before dinner and sip coffee while we waited for our table at breakfast. Can’t wait to stay again!”

“We absolutely loved our stay and will be returning over the summer. Stayed here since was only 10 minutes from downtown Cape May and can easily take a drive into town or an uber. Stayed in the queen cottage and everything was very clean and put together when we arrived. Little to no outside noise besides the occasional truck. When we entered our cabin they had even turned on the heat for us before we arrived. Best trip ever!Rooms: Spacious with your own control of heat/ac in each room. Worked quickly to heat up.Safety: Good quality locks on all cottage doors.”

“We’ve stayed at the Sea Crest about 6 times, and we return to it any time we go to Cape May. It’s a great location across from the beach, with a lovely pool and spa. Rooms are immaculate and there’s daily maid service. They have a lot of variety in their room styles. I’ve always appreciated their “adults” policy because it keeps the place quiet. One thing that needs to be addressed: the toilets are very low and should be replaced with the appropriate height for mature adults.”

“Very charming, quaint accommodations. Within proximity to all the Cape May amenities, including the Washington Street mall, the beach, Congress Hall facilities. Had an early check-in, concierge was very accommodating in finding us an open room, and having the maintenance staff set up a second bed.Rooms: Functions like an efficiency apartment; pull out bed in the living room; king size bed, at least in the room we stayed at. Rooms had microwave, sink, stove, coffee making apparatus. Private patio outback.Nearby activities: Beaches within walking distance, several hundred feet, Washington St., Mall is within a couple hundred feet walk.Safety: Very safe location.Walkability: Beach is a couple hundred foot walk, Washington Street mall is a couple hundred feet walk. “A excellent old hotel with a great location in cape may. It has alot of windows with cool views of the promenade. There is a bagel place downstairs to eat when you are hungry. It has a little park out front where you can put locks on a wire which is neat. There is off street parking for guests.”

“This place was impressively clean! We took an overnight trip to Cape May and picked the Beach Shack as it was one of the closest to Sunset Beach. The room was kinda small, but for 2 people it was great. Comfortable bed! Right across the street from the ocean, which I loved. I highly recommend the Beach Shack. We are actually going back next month--that's how nice it was! They have right on the property and a huge firepit which is really nice along with live music. Great place to be.”

“The Brown Room at Congress Hall is the best "upscale" bar in all of Cape May. Complete with live quiet music, great ambience, decent draft beer selection, excellent spirits and cocktails.”

“Absolutely everything was perfect. No kidding, we have never seen such a clean motel room and surrounding facility. Every corner of the room was pristenely clean. The carpet looked very new. I don't know the room dimensions but the size of the room gave the two of us plenty of space to move around. There is a small fridge with a freezer, and a microwave all on one side of the room with it's own counter top. Bathroom looked recently updated and again, super clean. Beds were very comfy. Each had four pillows.Outside, there is a one foot kiddy pool and a bigger pool that goes up to 8'. They have an evening fire pit too. Lots of lounge chairs for sunning or just relaxing. The motel overlooks the beach and the atlantic. It is only three stories high but you can still see the ocean. Each room has either a balcony or a patio facing the pool area. An outside entrance to each room is in the rear of the property, along with the parking area. There is also an elevator to get to the upper floors. Several lawn games, including corn hole, are available near the pool as well. Everyone was super friendly and so efficient. Kudos to the entire staff including the wonderful cleaning crew and the folks at the front desk. We will be returning. Thank you for making a special trip to the Jersey Shore even better!”

“We stayed Presidents’ Day weekend in February. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is walkable to restaurants and shopping. The beach is literally across the street however if you are on the first floor it is likely that you will not see it from your room. We booked ocean front room via Expedia and we were Oceanside but couldn’t see it. We did have a front row view of the pool tho which might be nice in the summer if you are bringing kids along or you just want easy access to the pool. There is a 4th floor observation deck that you have access to and you can see the ocean from there. Front desk staff was friendly. Parking is a flat lot. We were told they were fully booked but it wasn’t noisy. I imagine it could get noisy in the summer but you will have that anywhere. The kitchenette had everything we needed for the minimal amount of eating/drinking we did in the room. There is a restaurant on-site but we didn’t stop in there.Safety: Being in the ground level - there were locks not just in the patio door but also the screen. Parking lot seemed secure as well.Walkability: Definitley an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping.”

“Nearby activities: There are so many activities, that there's too many to mention. The Victorian Cape May area is on the beach with a boardwalk. There is a mall just up the street and there are stores and shops all along the streets. You can go horse and carriage riding or you can ride in the trolley. It is a beautiful area that gets many tourists year-round.Walkability: Sidewalks and boardwalk plus outdoor Cape May Mall”

“We had a wonderful time at the lovely Inn at Cape May. It has history, character and personality. The fire place in the lobby was warm and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful. I felt like a guest in someone's home rather than the feeling of being in a hotel. Will definitely stay again if in Cape May.”
