“Excellent location, Clean room with great amenities and the staff was the best. I wish I could have spent more time but one of my dogs was hurt from prior to arriving and had to get to the vet back home. If you have dogs and are visiting cape may, you have to stay here. It's the best dog friendly hotel I've ever stayed at. Thank you!”

“It’s the idea place to stay in Cape May! The room was spacious and beautiful, with a ridiculously comfy king bed. We were in the Decatur room. The breakfast is fresh fruit yogurt and homemade main courses. Ro and Eric have thought of everything. Free bikes, chairs, excellent coffee tea water and ice all day long. Two blocks to the beach and two to town. You will not want to leave!”

“It is a refreshing breath of fresh air to find people in buisness that care what they are doing. I booked a stay at Icona Cape May and had the pleasure of dealing with Michael Caroselli. Michael made the process of scheduling our time off very easy. He answered all our questions and was wonderful to converse with. No rush just pure customer service. ICONA should be blessed to have front line customer contact individuals like Michael. Thank you again for your help.”

“We had such a lovely stay. Spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, wonderful service, walkable from everything.

Doug even went above and beyond and helped us pull our car out of a tough spot -- what a king! 👑 Joanne was also so kind and friendly throughout our time.

Would recommend to anyone coming through Cape May looking to stay in a charming bit of local history. Excellent hosts!”

“Hello. I am not one to leave reviews for anything at all. Ken is so welcoming! My husband & I felt the warmth as soon as we walked into The Southern Mansion, upon meeting Ken. Our breakfast freshly made by Nick was delicious! He is such a polite young man. We will return, and are letting everyone know about The Southern Mansion. Thank you for the enjoyable weekend. Sincerely, Cherise”

“Carroll Villa hotel was the picture perfect small town b&b, offering all the charm of a gilmore girls episode with the addition of the beach being less than a 5 minute walk away. The room I stayed in was beautiful, with plenty of room and a quiet atmosphere.
The charm doesn't stop at the hotel, with the Mad Batter restaurant serving up some of the best chocolate chip pancakes I have ever tasted, and a menu that offers something for everyone. The staff were absolutely charming, warm and welcoming, making me feel like I was visiting with old friends. Manning their front desk were some of the sweetest people, offering warm smiles and welcomes, and help whenever needed. If I ever visit cape may again, I will be booking this hotel, and spreading the word to my friends and family!”

“My husband and I came and stayed here on our visit to Cape May and the Dormer house did not disappoint! The historic house is absolutely beautiful and the service was amazing! You receive complimentary breakfast in the morning with coffee and a pastry as well. In the afternoon you receive complimentary tea and cookie for each room. The staff there was so kind, specifically the Inn keeper who made sure to take care of us and really make us feel welcomed. She even made sure to send us home with some muffins since she knew we would be leaving before breakfast the day we had to check out. Overall had a phenomenal experience here and will definitely stay here when we come back!!”

“In August, I need a hotel room to spend the night after a 24 hour offshore bird and whale watching trip. Sea Crest Inn was one of the only hotels in Cape May that had a room available on the short notice and at what was, for a hotel in Cape May during the tourist season, a very reasonable price with no minimum stay. (For reference, some hotels in Cape May can cost over $1,000 per night with a two night minimum during the summer.) Two days before the trip, the operator pushed back the departure by a day. Not only was the staff at Sea Crest Inn able to change my reservation on such short notice, they only charged the difference in rates between the two days, rather than charging me for both nights. Then, on the day of the tour, the staff went out of their way to facilitate my late check-in, they made sure I was aware how to do so when no desk staff were on duty. And to top it off, they demonstrated a knowledge of the kind of tour I was on and were understanding throughout. From now on, I will be staying here whenever I take a pelagic tour.”

“The Empress of Cape May welcomes her guests as if they were royalty! Be ready to feel pampered, and savor the experience! Beyond beautiful with her outstanding architecture and decor… Ample space for our large family of three generations…. Perfect location close to the beach, shopping, etc. The owner, Jason, got back to us immediately if we had a question. Highly recommend The Empress of Cape May!!”

“The Rusty Nail has always been our favorite bar in Cape May, it’s where we had a welcome party for our wedding, and so we decided to stay here for our 10-year wedding anniversary. Rooms have few frills but that wasn’t important to us - can’t beat the location, right next to beach, with pool for kids, and can walk right down to the restaurant. Plan on making this an annual tradition - not sure why we didn’t sooner!”

“We love the Periwinkle Inn!! The staff are very attentive. We love the ambiance and charm. Across from the beach, and boardwalk. Near restaurants. Perfect vacation! A true treasure.”

“The room was nice the beds were comfortable obviously off season maybe that's why the rest of the place kinda looks just ok. But the front desk was nice. Only thing I didn't like was before check out time the house keeping just opened the door because we were in the living room and shower. I feel like unless you someone checks out you shouldn't knock on the door an hour before check out...”

“What a lovely experience it was to stay here! It’s adults only, laid back, clean, and cozy with beautiful antique charm, and unique elegance. It’s perfect for people who like to mind their own business, and enjoy an antique feel in a gorgeous historic hotel. Union Park dining room is a fabulous restaurant, definitely make use of the discount token provided by the hotel! The bagel time place is so-so, but it doesn’t matter because everything is in walking distance of here! It’s smack dab in the middle of everything you’d want to explore in Cape May, and right across the beach. We really enjoyed the ocean view room, and our stay was brilliant. Staff was friendly when needed, but definitely not overly cheery or bothersome. Also, yes, it’s *definitely* haunted!”

“The cottages are nice for families. They have a small kitchen if you enjoy making meals instead of going out. The pool is clean, the added gas fire pit and corn hole are nice. Being on septic the showers drain slow. The floors and area rugs could use better cleaning as our feet turned black walking on them after a few minutes. Overall it's a nice place to stay and have stayed here multiple times. It is 15 min from the beach and shops. Everything is close by.”

“We had a hiccup while checking in, but the staff handled it beautifully and extremely accommodating. Jill did her best to resolve the situation and ensure our stay was beyond enjoyable.

Sydney on the staff quickly became an integral part of our stay and someone our entire family looked forward to seeing each day. All of the staff members were so amazing and kind, by the end of our stay they knew each of our children by name and made our stay feel extremely special. We plan to return to this hotel every year.”

“We rented two rooms for two nights. Family get together for our daughter who finished USGC boot camp. Patti and her staff were on top of everything. Easy check in, clean rooms, nice pool and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Perfect for what we needed and would stay here again!”

“I love coming to The Grand. It hosts the perfect beach getaway. The rooms are beautiful, redone and clean. The facility itself is also beautiful. Indoor (saltwater) pool. Outdoor pool. Both are of decent size. There is a large room selection. They have ocean view with semi-private balconies with rocking chairs. Semi - private allows a breeze when you are out there, instead of being walled in. They also have pool view rooms which are more cost conscious, as well as a couple other room styles. The proximity to the beach is unmatched - right across the street. I consider it to be within walking distance to the Washington Street Mall (about 15 min). I really love this place and have no desire to try other hotels. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.”

“Great hotel....One of the nicest places to stay in CM. Love the extra sitting area in the room. And, the patio overlooking the pool and the ocean.. The staff is super friendly and accommodating as well.”

“A true historical landmark and beautifully maintained. The service and staff are wonderful. The rooms are comfortable with AC, wood flooring and solid comfortable beds. Windows are fully openable with screens so one can experience the fresh outside air, which tends to be pleasantly cool overnight, even after hot days. Excellent food at the Magnolia restaurant. Another plus is the location. A 5min walk from main beach, yet on a quiet block, away from the hubbub of main boardwalk.”
