About Dormer House
Dormer House is a cozy and comfortable older bed-and-breakfast in a safe, quiet, and excellent location. It is very walkable to everything, including the beach, boardwalk, and Washington Street shops, all within about half a mile. Guests describe the rooms as very comfortable, clean, spacious, and fresh-smelling, with comfortable beds. The homemade breakfasts are consistently praised as amazing, absolutely delicious, plentiful, and better than a restaurant. Afternoon tea with cookies is a very nice added treat. The staff are noted as excellent, welcoming, friendly, and helpful, though they sometimes keep to themselves. The home itself is cozy. Some guests note the experience is not modernized, mentioning that Wi-Fi did not work during their stay. Parking is included. It is considered an all-around wonderful stay, and many guests would stay again and recommend it to family and friends.
My lady friend and I, were here to celebrate Christmas in Cape May many years ago. From the time we walked up to the beautifully decorated outside of this historic home and walked through the door. You felt like you were magically placed in early 1900 from all the decor of this magnificent house..

Really enjoyed the Dormer house everything was very nice. Breakfast was really good. Our room was very comfortable. Love the Location could walk to everything. Would definitely visit again.
