“This dry cleaner is a gem in the area! The staff here are absolutely wonderful—friendly, hardworking, and detail-oriented. They take great care in handling clothes, and everything always comes back perfectly cleaned and pressed.
One thing to note: patience is key. The staff work efficiently and are on the elderly side, but like any quality service-it takes time to do things right. If you’re expecting rushed, assembly-line service, this may not be the place for you—but if you appreciate great care and attention to detail, this is the best choice in town.

“I’ve been washing my clothes in laundromats since I was a kid. I usually frequent a particular laundromat in Newark near my house that I feel comfortable going to - but yesterday I decided to stop in and try Garwood Laundromat since I was in the area. I am very pleased with my decision. The machines are new and efficient - and although they are priced a bit higher than the ones in Newark - their efficiency makes up for it. I also like that you can pay with quarters, or load a store card and use that. There aren’t many places to fold clothes, but it wasn’t busy at all the night that I went, and I didn’t have trouble finding a spot to fold. They have oversized dryers which are my favorite to use for large loads - which are very reasonably priced. There is ample parking, and a pizzeria near by in case you’re hungry and want to grab a slice. I will be back for sure.”
“The employees greet you nicely each time, answer any question which you pose regarding a stain or their ability to clean a garment, and return your cleaned item within a few days.

I was able to go in early and recieve help from a worker named Christian, he was able to clean my suit in 5 minutes and gave me a fresh haircut for the wedding as well. “I just moved from the LES and the laundromats there are always packed. I walked in here midafternoon on a Wed and the place was almost empty. I was surprised that they no longer took quarters and I had brought $25 worth with me, but the attendant (luckily) exchanged it for me and showed me how to use the card machine. Apparently you can also pay right off your debit and credit cards. There are a couple bars nearby too that may come in handy. This is definitely the best laundromat I've ever been to. It's clean, there's a bathroom, and the machines are new. A little pricey but its worth it. ??”
